@@Cassielynn_ 100% I’ve learnt so much and sunscreen is like my true love now!! 😂 Ever since quarantine began I’ve become so invested and I feel so knowledgeable about skincare now. Admittedly spend a bit too much on it tho 😂
@@frankly9432 skincare has carried me places 😊 it’s made me think more about body/haircare fitness diet mental health. I love it all so much but skincares my number one hahah
Being 34, I've noticed slight signs of aging and love seeing tips for improving my routine to embrace the aging process. But can we start using the term well-aging instead of anti-aging? I feel like it's becoming more of an outdated perspective in the beauty industry. Embrace aging everyone, each year we grow more fabulous, amirite?! love this routine Susan
I'm only 25 and have been anti aging my skin for 3-4 years and already reaping the benefits compared to my peers. The most important thing I did was staying out of the sun + spf everyday. I have also been using retinol, always cleansing my skin and keeping it hydrated with oils, serums and creams. I have 0 fine lines and almost no hyper pigmentation and I'm so happy. I advise everyone who's young to start taking care of their skin asap :)
Good for you! You definitely have all the important points covered for anti aging. And starting early is essential. I did the same and now in my 40's, I still have no lines, no damage. I do have oily skin which also helps. Keep up with the skincare and stay out of the sun, that is huge.😎
Your peers already hv fine lines? When i was your age, i also hv 0 fine lines and im not doing any skincare routine, just soap and water. That was how naive i was before. But aren't u supposed to not hv fine lines at that age?
@@rochellesonza6505 not really. I'm 20 and i already have fine lines in my forehead even tho i've been using sunscreen religiously since I was 7 and my skin type is not even dry it's normal. Maybe I have them because I am very expressive but you definitely can have them at a young age.
I'm 37 and have realized that the LESS I use on my face, the better and clearer it is. I have sensitive acne-prone skin. But I am down to double cleanse, treat, moisturize--SPF in the morning, serum and moisturizer at night. I use minimal products with basic ingredients like glycerin, aloe, retinol, hyaluronic acid. My magic mix is to double cleanse at night, rinse in the morning and keep my skin hydrated and moisturized. I don't use acne products (they irritate my acne now) and have found SPF and retinol to be all I need. Great video, though!
@@SarahLizDoan I know you didn’t ask me! But I actually have similar routine to yours except double cleansing because I really believe that’s a single cleanse can get rid of your sunscreen and other impurities! I use all French pharma products, Cleanse Eucerin redness relief cleansing gel, La roche posay toleriane fluid in the AM following by Finacea azelaic acid and Uriage bariesun SPF50+, At night I cleanse again and apply la roche posay toleriane ultra cream and La roche posay effaclar adaplene, my skin is oily sensitive and this is the best routine I’ve ever had, I love French pharma!
@@asdicmcodasdciasdjo7390 thank you! I always love to hear others’ routines! Sounds wonderful!!! I do double cleanse most days, too! I’ll have to check out French Pharma, thank you!
I been using Pyunkang Yul religiously for 5 years. Tretinoin for 13 years. The only product i change around is my sunscreen. I surprised she dint mention that its developed by Pyunkang Korean Medicine Hospital, an institution known for treating atopic skin disorders. The products are phenomenal
@@SusanYara I have read many articles on reddit and realself with people reporting subcutaneous fat loss on face. They say even though skin became really smooth the fat layer was diminished increasing undereye hollows and sunken cheeks.. and for this reason I am afraid to start retinol...I even read an article from a dermat saying even though there has been no studies regarding this, that does not mean it will not happen. To me volume of face is really important and that makes one look youthful primarily.. someone also pointed out that retinol/users alwYs end up going for fillers..it would be great if you could some digging into this
@@PR78193 I strongly suggest you refrain from both of those sites. No respective Doctor would give advice or make claims without consulting you in person. Those sites are a circus. Tretinoin came out in the early 70's, *everything* we need to know about it is long done and tested. The individual likely lost weight, and that was their anecdotal experience. Excuse me but reddit if full of morons. I encourage you to talk to a dermatologist and jump on the retinoids train cause were going to Porcelain land baby!
As a 30 year old, I never go without my retinol at night. I’m wondering if you can talk about how to incorporate exfoliating treatments like Sunday Riley’s good genes or Farmacy’s Honeymoon glow into an anti-aging focused skin care regimen. Thanks, Susan! Love your videos!
Regardless of the fact that it is sponsored, I have a friend who has been using Pyunkang Yul products for a long time and constantly talks about it. Yes, she has a young-looking skin at 37
Thanks! I understand that it’s hard for people to “trust” a recommendation when it’s sponsored, but I absolutely put my stamp of approval on this brand’s products. At least the ones I have recommended. Haven’t tried all of them!
I love how dewy and plump your skin looks. That's why I am obsessed with skincare - I love massaging my face, the hydration and just the experience of it all. The ultimate self care routine if you have no time for yourself otherwise.
Watched while doing my nighttime routine. I’m new to really putting effort into my skin, and I’ve learned a ton from you in the past couple weeks. I and my skin thank you.
44 here and I’ve been waiting for this video! 🙌 I love, love Pyunkang Yul as a brand. Their essence toner and sun cream are some of my faves. Also, I use your niacinamide cleanser daily, Susan. I love it! 💕
I was afraid to try tretinoin. Didn’t want the peeling and redness. I am 48 with normal to dry skin. I have managed to escape the bad side effects! Took it slow and low with hydration.
What is a good sunscreen for mature skin? My mom is in her 40’s and has been looking for a good sunscreen that doesn’t break up her make up! Thank you for all the tips Susan love your videos!💕
I absolutely love all of Susan's skincare routines. I'm 45 and regret that I waited until I was in my mid 30s to get into skincare. I mean I'm pretty well preserved but I think my skin would have looked better had I started earlier.
Lourdes don't feel bad you are very young and definitely can create a great skincare routine and start using SUNSCREEN if you are not already...also some type of retinol will be the best thing along with SPF!!!
Tretinoin forced me to accelerate my use of moisturizers and cut back on over-cleansing. I'm so glad because I was ruining my skin barrier. Now it is so much better.
What was your primary reason for starting Tretinoin, and how long would you say it took before you started seeing noticeable results in the quality and health of your skin? I'm thinking about starting soon too.
After watching this video I bought all of these products and just tried them for the first time. You’re right feels sooooo smooth and moisturizing even added together one by one! I’m so impressed. My question: should I use products on the neck area? Has anyone seen neck wrinkles? I want to minimize that, if possible
When you already use the toner Susan is raving about in this video! 🤗 That toner has saved my ultraaaa sensitive skin and my hands from constantly washing them during this pandemic.
@@UU-mt4wv Yes I knew, I saw it in the description box. It’s completely fine since I already know how amazing this toner is and purchased it because of the ingredients. 🙂
If Susan were to upload 10 differrent anti-aging routines for 30-year olds, I’d definitely watch all those 10 videos over and over and try which one could work for my skin. Thanks for this Susan! Love from 🇮🇹
Susan Yara: this video not only confirmed my love of Elemis balm, but gave me an introduction to the incredible set of Pyunkang Yul products- which, combined with my U Beaty resurfacing compound and occasional retinol addition- are simply anti-aging game changers! All while being subtle and feeling gentle but active. May be a forever routine. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm 57, and my anti aging night time routine is. Wash with cetaphil gentle foaming cleanser, using a bamboo cloth . Apply Differin every other night, top with a few drops of Dr. Adorable organic emu oil, then right before I go to bed, I put a thin layer all over of Collagen Ampoule gel to add and seal in the moisture. That's it!
I first heard about Pyunkang Yul essence toner in a Beauty Within video. Fel said it was great for those with dry, acne-prone skin, which is what my skin is leaning towards lately. I really should get myself a bottle!
Turned 26 a month ago, I'm worried about aging when I hit 30. Been using my favorite products like clinique for men, Cerave, and the ordinary. It's been helping since I was 20 but I know I need to change my routine in the future.
SOLD! That moisture serum is what I've been needing but didnt know it LOL I have very dry skin BUT get hard sebum build up on my nose and cheeks. They kinda look like black heads but without the black. I need something that will help with the excess sebum but wont dry my skin.
My skin hated Elemis....and it made me so sad. It was a combo of the essential oils and the richness. But I am loving the Naturium cleaners. I have such sensitive a ND temperamental skin I really have to balance my skincare and no go too rich - but I LOVE Pyunkang Yul - it is the perfect consistency.
The Pyunkang Yul Essence IS MY FAVORITE!!! I just finished my first bottle and I can’t wait to get the second one! Sooo rich and hydrated my skin love it💕 thanks for this video I’m 31 but I love skin care! Appreciate the info girl❤️
Love skincare 💕🌼 I needed this💯 I love the elemis cleansing balms, I use both the rose 🌸and neroli💛 I don't think I'd ever stop using them - the fragrance gives me a spa feel, so relaxing.
Hello Susan! Again, congratulations on your new product line!! What is the difference between both of your cleansers and which do you recommend for the age group you are targeting in this video?
According to her videos, she says even if you only wear sunscreen everyday, you should still double cleanse. And she loves cleansing balms, but I think that might be just her personal preference.
Yeah 30 is when aging starts to pick up, so it's the perfect time for you to start prevention! And definitely stick with it because it will really pay off =)
I'm on the younger end of this spectrum. And I do a one pump test with serums. Package says 2-3 pumps- I find one pump is usually all I need~ More doesn't mean more results.
Can you make a video about repairing your skins barrier? If that's even possible? I've been struggling with mask acne and I feel like I've been over treating my skin and I feel like a break would be nice 🙂 thanks Susan !
Hi! I’m 45 with oily skin; though it is getting less oily as I age. I’m very minimal with my skincare, so want to make sure I’m using it the proper way. During the morning before makeup, I cleanse, then apply SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF, then a light gel moisturizer. At night, after cleansing, I use a night serum. I go back and forth between Dermalogica Overnight Repair and Kiel’s Midnight Recovery. I recently added Trentinoin to the mix but am not positive how to use it, so I’ve been using it every other night with nothing else (don’t want to dilute it) and the other nights I use one of the serums I mentioned. Wanted to know your thoughts on this routine. Do you feel I’m missing anything from my routine, or misusing the Trentinoin? I do still break-out occasionally due to oils and fragrance. My skin is tough (Trentinoin.5 doesn’t bother me) but sensitive…if that even makes sense. Thanks for any advice or input you may have! Kim
I've been watching your channel and have 3 questions after watching this one.. 1. What do you put around your eyes? I see you are putting all the products you show in this video but none of the products go around your eyes.. 2. Quick and Easy.. Can I add all (may be most of my morning routine products) in my palm, blend them in one and apply? This sound very silly, but just curious.. 3. Do you believe in those products out there that help lift sagginess of the skin? Anyways, thanks for all the efforts you make to bring us the best and informative videos.. TWO THUMBS UP!
I really started to notice, that my skin changed a lot the last 5 years. I used to have combination skin, more on the oilier side, but now in my mid 30s I tend to be more on the dryer side. I need more hydration than I used to and won't break out from the richer products, as I used to. I love the essence toner from Pyunkang Yul, they also have a lovely low ph cleanser and the Intensive Repair Cream and the Purito Dermida Cica Barrier Sleepmask are my go to this winter, with the extreme cold air and the masks. I do have to say, that I'm on the luckier side, when it comes to aging. I have my greatgrandmas genes, who got almost 106 years old and didn't look as old as she was for a long time. Most people say, I look like I'm in my early 20s, althoug I did smoke for almost 13 years and didn't use that much sunscreen in my youth. Still I personally notice the change and know, that it takes more care these times.😉 Thank your for the interesting video😊
Hi Susan. Thank you very much for your videos. My question is what kind of skin routine do you advice when you work shifts? How can someone do a night routine when getting ready to go to work? I did ask this to someone else but never got a reply as her only replies are about sunscreen! Thank you again
What do you do for the daytime routine? All of them in that exact order except the Juice beauty at the end? And I’m a little confused as to why you double cleansed? I did buy all of these products you recommended tho, so thank you for that. I just need some clarification on a couple of things. Thank you! 😊❤️
Susan, you’re my favorite-you are so real. I like your videos before even watching, because I know I’ll love them! They make the end of a long day in the courtroom super enjoying and relaxing 😘
Hey Susan. Have you got a video on how to know what acid to use for your skin. Retinol is the obvious one, but what about azeliac, lactic, mandolin etc. How do we know?
Would you say peptides, particularly copper peptides are also essential to an anti aging routine? Just curious, would peptides destabilize vitamin c if done in the same routine? Thanks Susan!
I’m very interested in peptides! The problem with copper peptides is that they’re very unstable or some have large molecules that can’t actually penetrate the skin. We’re honestly still learning a lot about them!
Hi there! Is the alcohol in the nutrition cream safe. I thought it was a definite NO if it read alcohol in the first few ingredients. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Hi Susan what type of skin are yo? Im a combination type of face skin and I want to follow your skin regimen but I don't want to break out acne please helpmeet or reply me thanks a lot!
Should you wait for a period of time between putting on retinol/tretinoin and following with a moisturizer or can you put on moisturizer immediately afterward (I'm primarily concerned with dilution)
Hi! Oh my goodness loving your videos! Please talk about Botox, I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t use it in this world lol. I’m 33 and interested in knowing more and if I should use it. Thank you!
I haven't used it either! 😁 I'm actually proud that I'm 49 and I have very few lines and no damage. There's something to be said for good skincare, staying out of the sun and not smoking/good diet for graceful aging. Botox just looks weird, and not natural.
@@quorrakai it doesn’t have to if you only use a little. No one could tell I got it abt 5 months ago ...even my mother who judges me so much. I just lost the forehead wrinkles is all
@@sommeresposito6208 Oh wow, that's awesome. I guess most people overdo it, hence, the permanent surprised look lol. I'm glad it can be done and look natural 😊
TBH nothing on that list has anything special if you look at the actual ingredient lists. You can def get better products for cheaper if you're on a budget =)
You likely don’t need as many layers, nor a thick moisturizer. I would simplify for you and do double cleanse, hydrating toner, retinol (which is moisturizing).
I use the. Cereve Resurfacing retinol serum, which us encapsulated, and I usually avoid my eye area like it say in the directions. But, it's super gentle and I've not had any irritation with it. So, could I use it around my eye area? I hate to have to buy a separate retinol just for my eyes.
Apparently retinol creams especially those with higher percentages can cause eye dryness which is obviously very bad. So maybe you can choose a lower percentage retinol product for around the eyes but still don't get too close to your eyes.
When I only apply hada labo Lotion, moisturizer and spf in the morning, in the evening, same, but without spf.And 4-5 times applied aloe vera gel.Btw,38yo here.
Can I suggest you make sure you use an oil based face wash to remove any built up products you can’t see & exfoliating a couple of times a week will help with texture & hopefully after time some types of discolouration. Finish with a vitamin C & hyaluronic acid serum or cream every night. Should help but it will take a few weeks. Good luck
@@Glammums Thank you for the information, I bought a few skin care products from the ordinary, but for the past 2 weeks I have been mainly using Niacinamide and Azelaic acid on other days I use lactic acid as well as some amino acids I also bought a retinol. I'm hoping that it will help I'm 2 weeks in but havent seen much improvement but I understand that it's a process and must continue to be patient.
Hi! I would see a dermatologist for this one. There’s a chance it’s a skin condition or even hypopigmentation, so it’s important to figure out what it is.
@@SusanYara I'm guessing that it's Pityriasis Alba. It looks a lot like it but yeah I'm thinking that it would be best to see a dermatologist. It's weird because I only notice it when I take pictures in a room that has a lot of light if the room is dark it's not noticeable.
