Thank you. Question: on a go pro 10 there is a side functional button to scroll through modes. The anti fog device would interfere with function. Any ideas?

It is caused by there being worm moist air in the case and then temperature drops and the dew point changes. If you use the open back door you will not have a problem with the lens fogging up.

Can you tell me hot to assemble a GoPro to wash why items (most in corner) not very good cleaned? Do you get my point?

Really good tip. I have used with and without and it does work well to prevent fogging. Pay attention to his tip a bout keeping the inserts far enough in that they are away from the seal. I almost flooded my camera that way. Question : How do you put your inserts in the oven? Have you burnt your inserts before in the Oven? I tried a toaster oven and burnt mine.

Yes every time you open the case that would count as one use. That is the only time that new wet air can enter the case so how long you have them in for is not as important as whether or not the case has been opened.

I put my in a full sized oven on a baking sheet. I have not had any problems with burning them.

i have a friend who snowboard in oregon. He said he was having problems with it fogging up in the cold wet air. He used these and it stopped.

I do not use them when I ski, that is not to say that the camera will never fog up well skiing. But it have never happened to me.

I tried to use the desiccant gel packets..... It's better to get the anti-fog insert in the first place. The packet can't fit while intact so you have to cut it open and then take a few beads out and put them in the housing. There are several problems with doing that: the first is that the beads might get stuck in the openings in the camera, second the beads fall out easily, third who knows what those beads do when they get full of humidity, they could get gummy and ruin your camera..... my advice is buy them and don't risk your camera over a few bucks.

Are 3rd party anti-fogs reusable as well?

what do u think is the main cause for the lense to fog up, and do u think buy using the Skeleton Backdoor fogging up wouldnt be an issue?

Nice video, but although it says 4 'uses' on the pack (whatever that even means) it's never gonna be an exact science. It'd depend on how humid the air is when you open the back door and a load of other factors. So I'd say just use it as a rule of thumb, best to change then as often as possible really.

Couldnt you just use "Desiccant Balls" (Those lil sachets you find in new shoe boxes) instead of these strips? Save yourself the £/$15

i use toilet paper or just paper towels... heat em up to remove the fog out of the paper and then cut em into the right size to fit in put em in right afther you heated them... add a patch wherever you can and your problem is solved. don't waste money on this crap. overprized half working brand product.
