While doing this restoration, I took care to preserve the originality of the scissors.The seller said the scissors were made in the 1900s but when I was restoring it, I realized it was much older.When I saw how old it was, I decided to keep the scissors for myself and use them at my workshop. I used ordinary tools to do the restoration.Also I used simple techniques and machinery.
When I cleaned off all the rust, I realized that the scissors were shining too much.I had to coppper plate it to make it look old.It also helped to stop decay.
The scissors originally had fabric on the handle.
