still worth it in 2023. sounds better then any other mic I've ever owned as long as you know how to use software to tweak it. I personally use voice meeter potato to get a brighter sound with a compressor, makes the mic sound like a $1000 mic.
1000$ mic? Hell no, no amount of post will magically make this mic sound THAT good. Plus, not everybody knows how to use VSTs / Voicemeeter to process their audio. That being said, I can see how you can make it sound similart to something like Yeti, which is a feat not many gamer-y mics can achieve, even wired ones.
you should get some of those magnetic adapter tips to charge the modmic - no need for usb c after that. i have them on all my desk gadgets, airpods case, bluetooth amp, battery bank and keyboard etc..
I'm waiting for them to make an updated version before I think about buying one. They can add USB C and increase battery life to at least be 20 hours then it would be amazing.
Mine just randomly broke (won’t connect) and all Antlion offered me a 10% discount. I babied it so the thing just broke. Now they’re charging $140 for a replacement when I bought it for $100
I don't know why they haven't made new ones in years. It's a shame. There is still a lot to improve. That thing can always get smaller, steadier, better sounding, lighter or at least cheaper. But no the Wireless hasn't been updated since 2019, the Uni even longer ... it's been over 4 years. Wake up. It still uses usb micro b? WTF. Why isn't this wireless charging yet ... auto mute when folding up would be nice too.
patents last for 5 years and can be extended by making minor changes to the design, some of which may be internal this particular reason demotivates companies without competition to innovate their own products it's still expected for any product to be updated within 5 years
I think the crackling comes from him blocking the line of sight between reciever and mic with his head. Cause he's constantly turned away from the reciever. You noticed as soon as he got it off his headphones and in his hand, it almost stopped entirely, cause his head wasn't blocking it anymore.
hey i just bought it and connected it, straight i way i have crackling sounds inbetween my talking, its freakin annoying and people who listen to me talking also hear it, any solutions to this? cant find anything on the net.

I was fortunate enough to get my AntLion ModMic about 18months ago and got it for $80USD on sale here in Australia 🇦🇺 🥰🤯👍. The mic 🎤 quality is truely remarkable for chats, discord, gaming, video calls etc 🥳😳🥰😉! Battery life is quite good and lasts for reasonably long online gaming sessions imo. I have the wireless model (the wired model at the time was only about $15USD cheaper and I love my wireless version as I already have a wired headphone, the Jubilee X58 🤯💪🥰. It’s definitely worth it if you get it, better when it’s cheaper 🤔

Can the btr5k also do mic input? It also has aptx ll so I guess that's a better option. Makes all your system wireless without much loss in quality, doesn't need a USB device so works with everything. Also coz the mod mic sounds like an above average lapel mic
Oh yes it has an inline mic support I just checked ur older vid. I think if we already have an Aptx LL transmitter then btr5k would be the better option
Stay far away from bluetooth. I've got a few Aptx LL things, the quality/latency/compatibility is always a huge gamble and you will not be able to use aptx LL *with* a mic.
i have one its dog shit it picks up all audio in the room unusable without ai noise canceling it has started to rattle because the plastic wears down over time it build quality is very cheep not a high end product but is sold as one very disapointed looking for a better slution asap
