Hey, thank you so much! And it's just the nature of RU-vid. Especially when you do videos on different topics like I do. Haha. But thank so much, with the help of viewers like you, we'll get there!
Hey man! Thanks for the in depth video! Did you apply any filters to the mic in OBS for this demo or is this raw/filterless? I'm planning on using this with my Logitech Pro X wireless headphones to do VR streams.
This thing should come with several attachment systems, like a clip or something to use it almost like a lav mic, or and attachment earpiece to ditch the headset. Wearing a headset for 6 hours everyday on long teams and zoom meetings gets uncomfortable.
huh, there already are a lot of options for what you want, just pick any USB desktop mic and there you have it. You can also find lav mics at any audio store. This is called ModMic for a reason.
@@afroditta6950 I hear'ya but this product would be more versatil if it could operate as a lav mic as well. It wouldn't take much. A good lav mic cost a whole lot more than this modmic btw. I have tried USB mics and they suck basically, you need to spend considerable amount of money to get something above decent and you need attachment systems for them, at least me cause I have no table space. I wanna add to this that I own the Modmic wireless. I communicated my ideas to the manufacturer and it seems it's not the first feedback they have received on this topic. So perhaps they will make an attachment of sorts to cater to peoples needs.
This was a great review. I don't have this microphone yet so maybe this doesn't apply to this mic, but in Windows you should be able to enable the "Listen to this device" option for any microphone under the sound settings: i.imgur.com/KsTSZuz.png
Hey, thank you! Glad you liked the review! And yes, you are correct, but there is a delay and it makes it really hard to talk straight because you're basically talking over yourself the whole time. Haha
@@EagleGarrett Ah, I guess that's wireless Bluetooth part of this mic, I didn't even think of that. I have a USB desktop mic and there's no delay when using this feature in Windows, although it's only mic I've tried with this. Having a delay on your own voice is terrible so I take back what I said there lol
@@davidpeachey1837 Yeah, if there wasn't a delay it would be great, but after the signal chain goes through the Bluetooth signal and then the computer, and then back through Bluetooth to your headset, it's delayed to much. If there was a way to eliminate the delay, it would be perfect though!
