It amazes me that dedicate pro mic manufacturers haven't been able to come up with anything close to this. Especially amazing in our time and age with home office setups being so common.
Its a great accessory. Works well in a quiet environment, but mic is really clear. I thought the wired version was slightly better in quiet room. Not for noise cancelling but a great addition.
Thanks for watching Anton! We felt the same way about both modes, but this microphone sounds great. Perfect in a quiet environment where someone’s wants the best voice quality.
one day, i hope, we will see a similar but smaller mic for use with the earbuds, i know it seems weird, but there are times that this becomes a necessity
I wish it had different attachment concepts so I could get rid of the headset and still be able to use this mic. I'm so tired of having a headset on for hours in meetings. Perhaps some sort of system that made it possible to wear this under the shirt or perhaps attached to my monitor. I don't have space for a table mic so this mic seems practical for all purposes. Those lav mics don't work at all.
I'd love to see the Orosound Tilde Pros removable mic with its noise cancelling in the form of a ModMic so I can add that to my existing headphone. The ModMic sounds good but background noise cancellation is unfortunately behind what Orosound or Jabra tend to offer.
Hey Ben, you can get a replacement magnet here antlionaudio.com/collections/accessories/products/base-clasps or you can learn about alternative options here antlionaudio.com/blogs/faqs/my-adhesive-pad-fell-off-what-should-i-do
@@HeadsetAdvisor Well, I have Meze 99 Noir, and they have no place for the mic. Also the mic itself in my country costs double the price of headphones.
Thanks for watching! It's a very good microphone we use for our camera to record videos but wouldn't be used in the same application you'd use the ModMic in.
@@HeadsetAdvisor yes thanks for the info. I'm currently researching this topic and watching quite a lot of your videos. I do have the Bose QuietComfort und people keep complaining about the mic quality ...
@@Lektuerekurs you're welcome and that makes sense as the QuietComfort is great for personal use like music and some personal phone calls, but for work calls this is wouldn't be the best way to go.
@@Carlos123-zk7qw Maybe a headset like the Opencomm 2 UC could work well for you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7tm9PAU0-lE.htmlsi=oF7WzQIzmytLynRS
that distortion is pretty bad, it's clipping on itself. I guess great if you don't raise or your voice or get excited at all, but it's pretty noticeable just by talking normally based on this video it seems. Not sure why people are claiming this thing is amazing. It's sub par at best. The only thing it does is attach to any surface and turn a headphones into a headset. I wouldn't say it makes them a headset, it just adds a shitty mic to it. The wired one does sound better, so maybe just the wireless one that's shit.
@@HeadsetAdvisor I know it's just a USB dongle receiver it connects to; but in other software suites (like Soundblaster), you get: mic boost, voice clarity, noise reduction, echo cancellation, smart volume and even mic EQ. With this you just get to use Windows Sound control panel, which is very limited.
