Same here. I also learned about the mythologies and there gods for the first time with this game growing up as a kid.

I didn’t play this dlc. The chinese pantheon had to be a total mess. I only saw the chinese Titan and i thought that he didn’t really Look like a mythical creature. It was just a human with horns 😄

@@arix3083 there are a lot of problems with Tales of the Dragon, and the graphics are the _least_ of it. Which says a lot, because as you say, the graphics are bad. Partly, they're bad because the developers who worked on it-SkyBox-didn't have the ability to create new game assets, only to reskin existing models. So some Chinese myth units are literally just reskins of other older myth units. But that could be ignored if the game itself were good. Unfortunately, it wasn't. There were game-breaking bugs in the new campaign (which also had a story that was not well-received). The civ's units were terribly balanced, partly from bad design, partly from bugs. And its civ design was criticised for not feeling unique and distinctive enough. It's all-round bad.

To be fair, that entire "DLC" was outsourced and the original dev team basically had no say. Everyone and their grandma knew it was bad they just didn't want to throw anyone under the bus.

Hah true! Honestly good choice. Petsuchos will be forever remembered but at least people will have easier time pronouncing them now x D

Yea it does prove they do truly listen to the community which is great.

I know right? As fun as it is to joke about it, I'm ok with paying for the games again when they are remastered if that means getting to play a game I know and love with the most current technology in gaming.

Personally I hope it has a lobby option for autoqueue allowed and autoqueue disallowed. Casual play can have autoqueue, ranked no autoqueue imo.

Auto que is way more fun than staring wildly at the 40 food is it 50 yet? can I click the villager button again? Is it a skill level technically yes but making 50 of the same builder is the dullest part of the game. I'd much rather look at scouting or combat

@@davyhotch You know considering how much automation they are adding for controllers, they'll probably just have autoqueue available to everyone.

@@davyhotch it doesn't look like they have it on . but i hope there is an option to have it. all my friends (medium level players) love it only the pros don't want it. but there are more low level and medium players than pros.

I think what he means is that the early access will be 7 days early, but if you buy it like 2 days before the release, then it's just 2 days.

@@Ballistic-vn6em no, sold well does not mean successful. At least not in creating a good game. Look COD. I personally do not like at all aoe4, sc2. Both are bad games imo. Not fundamentally bad in themselves, they are playable. But they are not great games by any means. Nothing like sc1 aom aoe2 etc. There is just something in great titles that is missing in a lot of games nowadays.
