@@GenTechPC Nah reaching me would be a waste as I watch from a tech enthusiast perspective - I have a desktop but would never buy a gaming laptop because that would be too distracting from work. Cool to see what they can fit in one though since only a few years ago they completely sucked
Well if I win the lottery I would buy for sure. But sadly iam a disabled veteran on fixed income with broken truck which is needed 1 before dreams of gaming with my son. Great videos looked at website then the wammy lol thx for letting us see this beautiful machine.
Dick Watson I’m sorry to hear that sir. I hope you fulfill that dream of yours. There are many laptops out there that perform well for a good price. If I were to say, Lenovo Y740 is a great deal. :)
Hello! I am somewhat interested in buying this laptop, but just out of curiosity, what is the brightness and color accuracy of its screen? Additionally, how is the backlight bleed and contrast?
@@Chadams20 I love this laptop!! When I got it I was thinking damn this is big but that's only because I'm used to 15in slim laptops but I knew that buying this and was more than fine with that given the performance. So looking at the performance side of things I bought the 1660 Ti model which is more than capable for most games I only play a few games on it due to the fact that I use this for music production as well. When I did play games I could play them on high with over 100fps some games at 144fps. It can maintain 4.40ghz stock but I didn't try to overclock or change any of the profiles because I was more than fine with the given performance I recommend keeping it plugged up though. It can hold 4.40ghz off the charger but not for long once your battery starts to drain drastically so that's 1 gripe but it makes sense. The keyboard is amazing as well and heat oh heat is something you really don't have to worry about the fans get crazy and I'm sure you could get higher clock speeds with the max fan but prepare to use headphones turned all the way up. Many people don't know this about this computer but there's also a very very high quality DAC on this machine really nice for audio. It has some weight as well but I got used to carrying this big ass monster around whenever I need to. The structure of this computer is nice and sturdy, I believe it's all aluminum
Haha same boat w me now man!! Bought the $3,899.00 version i9, 2080 super mp, 3tb storage...I ordered it yesterday and they said September...I'M DYINGGG haha
Hi mate, thank you for the review , I'm planning to buy this laptop with 2070super GPU and 10875H CPU after 2 failed purchases of mine 1st Helios 300 and second Legion 7i both rubbish ! On silent mode can you hear the fans ? Are the fans suddenly go loud on silent mode as Helios 300 does ? Thank you
Can you review acer predator helios 300 (2019), bcoz i have one of earlier version (red edition) i want to see inside and its temperature profile. Btw good work!
alienware 51m cause its running a desktop cpu. both of them probably have same rtx 2080 but aorus 17 is about 500$ cheaper. I really like the alienware but its just too fckin expensive.
I know this might be a dumb question but I was thinking of buying this laptop but before I do wanted to know if it supported cpu and GPU upgrades. Cause I wanted to try to install the new AMD Ryzen 4000 in it if possible but I don't know much about the actual components
On your site u say that 2070 model power brick output at 230w but on Aorus official site say 330w for the same model may I ask which is the correct one?
I would just like to ask If I use the HDMI and im using a 144hz monitor? will it effect? or HDMI monitor will be just 60hz even if its capable of 144hz refresh rate?
I'd say no longer than 2hrs on minimum settings. My AW 17 r5 has a 99wH battery (bigger than the Aorus'), GTX1080 with Gsync and I'm lucky to get 1.5hrs out of it
2080 a max q? or full 2080 as ive got conflicting spec on this site...www.scorptec.com.au/product/Notebooks/Gaming-Notebooks/79530-AORUS-17-YA-9AU2452SH

jep ☺ ☺ ☺ , show the keyboard...i will buy next time one ...but i am using a Lenovo keyboard...best of best for developer...so u showed anything but didn't practiced the usage ..type quickly and show how its running... fast enough , low high-point. nice feedback , good sound etc...60% is used by keyboard and nice screen...rest speed m.2 ssd and CPU +ram (maybe u make a live video- you will get better feedback ) last sentence in general for all review maker who want to earn $from Ytube channel
Nope, I'm out. WHY DO THEY PUT 2 POWER BRICKS WITH THIS THING?! the msi raider only has ONE brick and it has the EXACT SAME COMPONENTS AS THIS.......... BULLSHIT MAN!
