Here are the AP courses I took and how they helped me get into medical school. Disclaimer: You do not need to take AP courses to get into medical school. They help, but it is 100% not required. You will learn all the material in college. If you can take them, go for it! But don't burn yourself out for something that will be seen again.

Is taking AP Physics useful at all? What APs are the absolute minimum you should be taking for becoming a doctor later on? The 6 year medical programs are so competitive to get into.What should you do in high school to get into one.

Would you recommend retaking these classes in college or just using the AP credit to fulfill the pre-reqs?

I would actually recommend retaking them in college even if you do AP in high school. My advisors told me med schools want to see these classes be taken to ensure you have a strong foundation. If you took them as AP in high school, it's much easier in college

Which AP exam would you recommend to take in the sophomore year(from this vid)? I'm gonna be a sophomore this year and i dont know what AP exam to take. btw there are no ap classes in my school for sophomores. its a small school :'(

I’m going into sophomore year as well and I’m taking AP stats, APUSH, and AP computer science principles, as well as dual credit Pre Calc and Honors chemistry! Hopefully this isn’t too much work!
