Killjoy was the first actual "new" agent, that's why from there on the cinematics have more production. The first ones were the beta characters that launch together, plus reyna who launch with the official game release.
so for kayo's ultimate, (the robot), he cancels all of the agents abilities for a specific amount of time. He was programmed to kill radiant's specifically.
phoenix's snapping thing is a flashbang which means if enemies look at the flash they are blind for about 3 sec. but you can always hide behind the wall or simply look away to avoid being blinded. it's not easy becuz you gotta have good reaction
Every cinematic here (besides the first few ones) contains something about the valorant lore, especially fade’s because she’s digging into the fears of the agents. For example, sova’s fear is to lose his other eye seeing as he already lost an eye, chamber’s fear is that the alliance he has with his mirror self gets broken and everyone finds out about what they did to the map ‘fracture’. There is so much lore in the valorant universe that they could make a tv series about it. I think you should react to ‘the valorant lore explained’ video by sir jeppy. Really feels like you’re sitting through a movie.
I wouldn’t say Sova’s afraid of that. We don’t really know what he’s afraid of, bc his backstory isn’t really clear. Hopefully we see more of him in upcoming cinematics.
In Harbor trailer.. That relic chose him because he is the one .. Riot posted the pic where harbor tells that his nani(grandma) use to tell him the Stories of Lord Varuna(Water god in Hindu religion)... and his name is also Varun... So he is the one...
Now about Reyna. What she does is that when she kills an enemy the enemy leaves a soul orb, she has two options. She can dismiss herself "Means she becomes invincible between that time for about 2-3 seconds but shes still visible" or she can heal herself for about 100 HP per soul orb. And her 3rd ability is a blind orb that you can throw at your desired place. All enemies who can see that blind won't be able to see anything except that blind. And her ultimate enhances her dismiss ability. She can heal and dismiss herself at same time & she becomes invisible too in that time period.
@@thatsjustzero its good enough to alow her to take a fight at a very off angle where you would tipically be instantly traded and still come out alive like nothing happened. She doesnt see too much pro play cause her utility does not provide too much for the team, but she is very much a ranked demon on the right hands. A very feast or famine agent if you will
Not all agents are Radiants. Radiants have radianite powers that are innate and not from devices and such. Radiant Agents are Neon, Sage, Phoenix, Jett, and Fade (and etc.). While agents like Brimstone, Breach, Killjoy, and Viper are examples of agents who are not radiants but use radianite devices. Other agents are also "selected" by their weapons like Astra's bracers and Harbor's bracelet. Together, they are Valorant agents.
Kay/o is an Initiator, initiators are the ones who scans and recons the enemies, in his case, with his knife he disables enemies abilities in the area where the knife landed for a period of time and his ultimate is like he's the knife itself, he has an area where he silence all the enemies abilities, there is another cool thing when he died when his Ultimate is Active, he will set to reboot mode, he will have additional life but downed. he can wait for a reboot from an Ally for a limited time, if their is an ally, the ally should reboot him, to survive for the round
Not sure if you already know but there are different roles. Not every agent has recon abilities; only 'initiators' do. And some agents are 'controllers' like astra, harbour, brimstone and viper. That's why they have smoke abilities or others that can slice the map to make entry easier. 'Duelists' pack usually contains damage-dealing abilities or those that will help them get kills. Last but not least, sentinels like sage, killjoy and cypher are expected to defend a site well so they have abilities to stop the enemies' push so that teammates have time to rotate to where enemies are. So basically, everyone has their own role to play and work together.
People with powers are called Radiants because they got them from Radianite. People with no powers are just humans with tech to fight. KAY/O is a robot created to kill Radiants in a war against Reyna on his planet; his trailer is about AI learning; he has the power to block enemies' habilities and when he ults he can die and get revived by a teammate. Chamber's kit is about guns basically; he has a sniper, a pistol, a teleport and a trap. In the trailer he's cooperating with his double from Omega Earth to save Brimstone. The game is a bit better looking in game now than it was on the first trailers, obviously. :)
Any character with supernatural abilities are radiants. The fast girl ur talking about wears the backpack to contain her powers. She’s too powerful that if the backpack is destroyed, she would release too much power and destroy everything around her.
With over 500 hours on Omen, I personally think he is the best character. He is great at every role. With my very aggressive playstyle, he is very fun.
Neon is an agent who is a radiant, none of the agents are called radianites, rather radianite is the resource that radiants draw their power from. Neon is a radiant because her suit is designed to contain and channel her powers, rather than the suit being the source of her powers
There is a new cinematic out for Valorant, and imma just say that it go hard af Valorant lore can be pretty confusing, so if u wanna learn more about it I would suggest a video made by Sir Jeppy which explains it in detail. Radianite: Material that can be used to produce energy, power weapons, and can turn some humans into Radiants Radiant: A human that has been affected by Radianite (Has powers) Other people (Idk lol): Humans that wield Radianite-powered weapons / are not Radiants
Not sure if anyone else already said it, but Astra and Harbor fall in neither of the categories, there's supernatural beings who're the radiants and then there's humans who use Radianite tech, Astra and Harbor's devices are ancient devices which are made from Radianite itself, so unlike Breach or Brim or Killjoy, they're not tech, Astra comes under the class of Astral Guardian, a higher species, and Harbor's bracelet was also made by the Astral guardians, nd judging from the cinematics, the Astral guardians resided around India(Lotus being in India)

It's radiants and non-radiants. You can choose any agent you want to play. It's not radiants vs non-radiants. You play 12 rounds on a random side (defender of attacker) and you play the rest, to 13 points, on the other side. Radianite is the "vibranium" you were trying to remember. It's like a stone that gives energy. Radianite was like a meteor that crashed into the earth and gave power to lots of people, so more and more radiants were born after that. They all have 4 skills. You thought the powers you saw were ultimates, but only one is an ultimate. Phoenix's wall of fire is his first skill. His ultimate is the ability to die and reborn where he came from, like a phoenix. The game consists on plant the spike in a bomb site (A or B, but some maps also have C, like three sites). You can buy any gun you want, but only if you get enough credits during the game. You get more money if you win the round, if you plant the spike (the bomb). But you get less money if you lose the round, if you don't plant it or if you don't try to defuse it.
chamber was once the most broken ass agent of valorant before Rito finally dig a grave for him basically pre nerf chamber comes with a variety of abilities that doesn't make sense concidering his main role is sentinel which is basically a defence oriented agent, his abilities comprise of a pistol that you can scope with does 1 tap headshot regardless if you have armor, a tp anchor which he can use to zoom around the map 2 alarm trap that can slow and let you know where they are entering and the best part his ult a free sniper rifle that can delete anyone dumb enough to get on its sight plus it has a slow effect as well and it scope so fast that by the time the first shot is fired the guys will be most likely lining up the follow up, so yeah nightmare of an agent
@@thatsjustzero nerf chamber now has 1 tp anchor and has a smaller range but it disabled the height limitation still has the pistol but the 2nd shot accuracy from his pistol has now been decreased, traps became 1 and when you move out of range it will not work until you go back to its range, ult became really slow now so all in all he got nerf so bad that his pick rate drop real bad
Actually Radianite is the Material that they're using as electricity or anything related to energy. Radiants are the people affected by the Radianites and Obtain power from it. Mostly related to earthly matters like, Fire (Pheonix), Ice (Sage), Air (Jett), Forests (Skye), Electricity (Neon), Souls (Reyna), Darkness (Omen), Space and Time (Yoru) and so on. Agents like Astra and Harbor, I'm not really sure since, they are just using Guardian Relics such as Astra's Gauntlet and Harbor's Bracelet. Not sure. other's are just Human with Tech's like Viper, Killjoy, Raze, Breach, Brimstone and so on. One thing is just different from them, Kay/o. He is an Anti-Radiant AI Robot that is used to track down Radiants from the future, he traveled back in time to stop the carnage in the future. that's why his abilities are about disabling other's powers and abilities. and He's my favorite hehehe 😉😉😉😉😉
The wall pheonix made was not his ult just a normal ability his ult allows him to basically get a second life for a set amount of time so if he gets killed during the duration of it he goes back to the spot he used his ult at
2:50 Yah dude whenever u meet a new player, ong its so easy to spot whether they play apex, because they cant get rid of the ADS habit. Valo punishes u hard for ADS in closer combat but when u meet someone that does regardless, and ask them, yeh they playing apex
yep, you're very confused about the radianite thing hahaha, radianite is just a powerful precious element in their world. Radiants are agents who gain abilities from radianite. since radianite is a precious resource and the parallel earth is already running out of it, they're trying to steal radianite from the other earth
