VALORANT NOOB REACTS TO ALL VALORANT CINEMATICS (Ep 1 - 5) FOR THE FIRST TIME 

They do have some agent reveal trailers for the newer agents that have been released if you want a bit more context/background. Definitely not a ton in terms of world building but still enjoyable to watch nonetheless. I believe there are a few lore videos out there as well made by other content creators. I don't wanna spoil anything for you since the few small easter eggs wouldn't make sense from just watching the cinematics. Aye Dev so happy you reacted to these. Unfortunately Phoenix doesn’t go as hard in game, he needs some buffs to his kit, but these cinematic are beautiful (eh get it, NF reference lol). But dope tidbit of info, Riot Games, the developer of both Valorant and League of Legends, makes their own music in studio, and it’s always super fire. League has some really amazing songs, and Valorant tends to link up with an artist for every Champions tournament, which is Valorant’s main pro tournament. Maybe check out some songs, I recommend Die For You, or a couple LoL songs are Burn It All Down or Legends Never Die. So Phoenix is like you said, a literal phoenix. His ultimate ability allows him to have a second life for a small duration of time, and once he “dies” he will respawn with all his shield and full health. So he can rush on site without any precautions and respawn when he dies. In the cinematic they usually stretch what characters can do, but he probably got shot by the Jett first and then Yoru shot Jett. I don’t know if they actually die, usually they get healed and respawn somehow, i don’t think it’s explained in lore. But the lore of this game is another world is trying to invade and steal all of the Radianite from the main world. So there are basically two of everyone and they fight each other in the field. They’re called agents, and there are 19. In the last one, they went to the other dimension, and so they were trapped there. All the maps in game are places that they have fought, and so some maps are on the main earth and some are on the other one. The people with powers are called Radiants on main Earth and are basically criminals, on the other earth they are seen as superheroes, but that is a lie since they are the villains.

you got it pretty well. it is 2 paralel universes, one is trying to steal radianite (an important resource) from the other. This is the lore that explains why the game have the defense and attack sides (attack are the ones stealing and defense trying to stop them). It also gives a reason why players on 2 oposite teams can have the same agent. they could just say "it is a game" but in this case they created a reason in the lore itself. In terms of dying, you were right once again, Phoenix ultimate is basically an extra life. However, there is one agent called Sage (the girl at 16:01 that spawn that blue wall) who's ultimate is being able to resuscitate someone of her team. In terms of lore, i believe it is agreed that she is the reason why the agents that got "killed" end up coming back, since that is her power. Btw, that guy at 16:40 (Cypher) until now died on all cinematics and trailers he appeared on. So the community joked about it. That death in the 4th cinematic was kinda like the devs keeping the "tradition".

There are 2 earths. Alpha and Omega. Agents - These are what the heroes/champions/legends are called in this game Radiants - People who have unique powers Valorant - an agency of people with Useful Talents and skills including Radiants *Note: Not all agents are Radiants, there are those who rely solely on gadgets* Alpha is the Defender side in the game and Omega is the attacker side, in this case, the guys planting the spike. Spike - A device used to steal Radianite from Alpha earth used by the Omega agents (Basically the bomb) Most of the Cinematics revolve around the the Alpha agents trying to drive away Omega agents. The only exception here is the 5th Cinematic, where it's about the Alpha agents going to Omega earth to retrieve their stolen radianites.

Ouh, I have to say I loved how you got all hyped up for those characters! I rly enjoyed watching it ^^ There are 20 agents by now since the game got released and everyone has its one abilities. Almos every agent originates from another country. Jett (the wind girl) is from Korea and she was talking in her language in the first cinematic. Thats why you couldn't understand her (unless you can speak Korean ofc) I have to admit I love to show this game to those who havn't played it before and "teach" them the basics. So if you are interested in playing a round or two, that would be cool ^^ Oh yea and I can tell you one or two things about the lore and the agents, since I'm playing this game for a while now.

Valorant characters are called Agents. And there are two types of agents. Radiants and humans. Radiants have powers like Phoenix. Humans do not, but they use tech to overcome the difference.

little bit of lore so it all makes more sense: So radianite is a material that is harvested by those "bombs" (spikes) from the environment by force, destroying everything behind. There is a multiverse, and 2 earths are in a "war" were one is trying to steal radianite from the other (hints the question phoenix made in ep 3 "i wonder why they need our radianite for". SOME people have powers, they're called radiants (phoenix and jett for example), but most are normal agents who use technological weapons our gadgets to have a chance against radiants. Phoenix is the only one that revives (hints the name, phoenix) in the game is his ultimate. My theory to why they're always alive even after dying in other cinematics is another agent called Sage (the ponytail girl at the end of WARM UP who destroyed the bot with a wall), her ultimate in game is reviving someone, so thats my theory. In the newest episode the earth from the previous episodes (that were being robbed) decided to strike back, created a portal to go to Omega earth (the other earth, ours is the Alpha) and went to steal radianite back. They thought Omega earth were creating a weapon with the radianite....but it looks like they were wrong..... so ! few thing you need to know for valorant ! ( same as usual i'm french so please don't blame me on my english xD ) Brimstone ( the guys with red hat ) is the lead of valorant project sage ( the china chick with blue and white outfit ) is the Number 2 of the valorant project and Viper is unofficially the number 3 all other people are just member of valorant project they are " radiant " people with superpower ( like pheonix fire bender / ... ) or just people with high technologie ( breach / Brimstone / ... ) and they try to protect the world from destruction and chaos they fight againt the parallel world and they " bad version " of themself Chamber is actually the only to work with his " bad version " but chamber is an " grey hat " if i can say that no one know what he want and what he does for now in the Lore is the central point of what going on he destroy a generator for going in the parralel world but he work with valorant project ( Killjoy / Neon / Brimstone ) to create a new gate to go in other world so no one understand his move actually a lot of trouble happen beetween some agent of valorant Project and they had to keep under the eyes of govenement they are a secret organization so that's why you see a " breaking news " on the cinematic people wonder what the fck they are and what they do for blowing up a bomb in venice in italy that lift off a house in the air and Kingdom are the " Big " society who call valorant to help at first but we are not sure if they are good or evil atm and kingdom in other world are different of the knigdom on our actual world anyways in the first cinematics pheonix you see is from earth 1 AKA Alpha ( our world ) he is "the good guy" jett ( the wind girl korean ) was from Omega earth AKA Earth 2 " the bad guy " but in reality earth 2 run out of radianite( some mineral used to powered all tech in valorant world ) and they come to earth 1 to steal their radianite our the world of earth 2 is doomed so Omega Agent ( aka bad guys ) are in fact the good one on Omega earth and Alpha Agent ( The POV of every cinematics is from Alpha agent ) are the good guys but considered as ennemy on Omega earth the Last cinematics the viper you see ( green chick with poison ) is from Omega earth so it's not the same Viper you see team up with pheonix in the Third cinematics ( they are both alpha agent ) ! when the 3 other reyna / Neon / KILLJOY ARE FROM Alpha Earth ( i'm so sorry if i mess up with my explication like i told oyu i'm not english i'lm still learning xd )
