ALWAYS DOWNLOAD AND BACKUP YOUR MUSIC!! this is so important. I'm actually looking forward to a time when the internet will be no more.. I got over 10.000 mp3s and I've been collecting since 2003, backing them up every week, which is helpful cuz one of my drives broke in 2020. most of them are albums I've ripped myself tho
@@secretjazz93 that is so cool i used to do that but i stopped because it takes up so much storage especially if you have a big amount of songs downloaded, my question for you is do the songs you have downloaded have a really good high quality audio? i doubt it since you mentioned you get them off of youtube but i'm very curious if there is a way to download music with high quality audio without having to use spotify?
@@downwardbrainspiral I have very nice speakers, so 320kbps high quality mp3 is good enough for me. I used to have some flac and wav files but I've converted them all to high quality mp3s for storing. I also have a lot of disk space, one drive is dedicated to music and it isn't even half full! I delete all the songs I didn't like from an album so there are (almost) no full albums on there which again saves a lot of space. I recently converted the shitty stereo beatles rips (flac, and pseudo-stereo) to high quality mono mp3s, sounds like old vinyl, I think that's the best way to listen to the beatles. saved lots of gigabytes this way
