The mv is about the girls making the “perfect guy” the lyrics talk about how she wants to find someone just right for her and she needs a man to completely please her. Which is why they are making the perfect man in the factory by collecting all the things for a perfect man and at the end create him. And the percentage signs is a play on the Korean spelling of Eung Eung (응응) %% Eung Eung is an onomatopoeia equivalent to “mm mm”

응응 (Eung Eung) is a colloquial slang for "yes", "I got it", "I understand", and the like. Younger people are the ones who usually use it and type it as ㅇㅇ when replying to someone via text or chat. Apink stylized the title of their song to %% to make it more symbolic (8th mini album release with the album called PERCENT; 8th year-old idols [of international bearing] with limitless/unlimited potential so there's no number added before the % sign).

Bless Up! It's finally here! Also for the suit thing, I think its kind of a Full Metal Alchemist reference-ish? I mean I heard that it was but I dont watch FMA? or like they're creating their perfect man (we see them hold different body parts throughout the video) but the suit is hollow because there is no such thing as a perfect man.

There's a scene that actually plays out exactly like the ending of this MV - except for the bedazzled heart - in the movie Beetlejuice, which came out 13 years before the first volume of the FMA manga.

I loved your reactions and I'm happy you enjoyed the song so much! it was such a brilliant change from their usual style while still sticking to their own color. like kevin said, the song doesn't follow the on-going trend of the year -- and honestly apink's songs never do. that's what makes them stand out a lot and chart well even if a lot of non-fans don't give them the recognition for it. I hope the others can react to apink's changes one day too. I'd love to hear about their new opinions on the girls and the direction they went in. 🙏

i think one of the great things about this song is that it so seamlessly mixes lots of different styles. while a lot of other groups mix genres, there's usually a bit of a split in sound so the verses and chorus would sound different. everything in this song just moves so smoothly!! so far this is my favorite release of 2019 and its gonna be really hard to beat

It took me a min to realize it when I watched the MV, but the members are gathering materials and using alchemy to make the perfect man, while the lyrics talk about how they won't settle even if it's tempting to date around just to stop being lonely. A man who appears right when they need him, who has a warm heart, who doesn't look at other girls... It's a super cool MV, I love it

For the last Seven Years,Apink had been using the Innocent Concept,to show their love for a guy,they sometimes change their concept to tell the heartbreak they've experience,and when 2018 came they change their concept into a grik crush,it was titled as Im So Sick were they killed the man they once love,on 2019 Eung Eung came,were Apink is wanting another man to come to their lives, that's why they created it,but on 2020 Duhmdurum came were Apink are asking their selves if they can still love again after all the things that they have done. That's my theory!

i think the mv is about how there’s always some piece of their SO that’s missing like a percent that’s not perfect, making them create a perfect person (the pink heart and floating suit hehehe) to love; but even then there’s still a percent missing because that’s not a real person. just my interpretation tho!
