I can't believe how far you've come with these videos. The intricacy and sheer beautifulness of your VFX just absolutely blows me and away. Combined with the enchanting score and how you managed to cram so much emotion into so few scenes, I't damn well almost brings a tear to my eye not gonna lie to you. The future sure looks bright, and I for one can't wait to see what you'll make next!
That was one of the most well made short films I've ever seen. I now want to create a short film lol. But fr, this was so good, like, one second you feel sad for him, like he's gona die no matter what. But the next, it makes you feel happy, almost made me smile. It was so cinematic, it was just insane, amazing job, guys. Also the fact that this was renderd in EEVEE is insane, as it looks real. (Could use some color grading tho)
I like the music! i could tell that the synth used in the shot where you exit the space station was the dystopian lead preset on flex. lol. i use flex a lot so i know like every single preset.
Man this is stunning. I first saw your video on the spacesuit and how kind of cheap you modeled it, but man everything looks so convincing and cinematic. The animation and camerawork are fantastic. And you said its all evee ??? Amazing lighting. You should get some sort of award for that. You are truly a gifted filmmaker
this is one of the best projects i have ever seen done in blender! please make a behind the scenes! how did you make yourself float in the space ship and actually move there?! you made an awesome job man!
Thank you! I actually used a climbing harness to suspend myself in the air against the greenscreen in my basement. I'm thinking about making a behind the scenes, maybe if it gets a liiitle more views ;)
This is awesome truly well done. However, I'd like to address somethings. In space there is no ambient light. The shadows should be pitch black. In addition, the Gravity is inconsistent (the astronaut's hands move slowly but his face is all over the place.) The suit had Subsurface scattering for some reason. All in all, it was a great short movie. Keep the good work.💫
Hey man, thanks for the tips! I cheated a bit with the lighting so things would be more visible, but you're right it's very unrealistic xD Glad you enjoyed it anyways!
@@AlbinThorburn I can tell! I'm working on a sci-fi project right now and I'm dreading some of the visual effects effort that's going to be involved. I have a lot to learn! 😅
@@RealJamesArcher haha that's awesome, send me an email granitefilmcompany@gmail.com and perhaps I can help you with some of the shots? :D I couldn't help but notice that your channel looks super clean and professional. Definitely going to use some of your tips on creating viral videos! Subbed :)
