Before doing the clean and lube, it's really important to shield the brakes from any overspray, and never touch the rotors with your bare hands. Your brake pads can be easily ruined by oil or grease that gets on the disc

Hey Sean - Speaking to one of the awesome reps, I’m pretty sure they told me Brooklyn, NY has a scooter spot that works with you guys in regards to fixes/issues. I wonder if I can bring my Explore there every 4-6 months and have them professionally tune up my scooter like you did in this video. To be extra safe. 🤔

It was wierd when rewatching this because I just remove the bolts on the frame holding the calipers, this way you can change the pads without fumbling with those washers. Wayyyyyyyyyy easier! At least for me.

Just got my Apollo Explore 2 days ago!! Loving it so far. I had a question about how to get the most out of the battery with respect to how often it should be charged. Is it like a phone where you should use most of the battery before charging it fully? Or should you charge it after every trip regardless of how short or long the trips are (I’ve read that that is the way to go for some scooters)? Thank you!

If you’re only going down to 90% and want a long ride the next time out charge it if not wait until you are getting down to 55% charge it if you are storing it 70% for the winter. Full lithium ion packs are unstable over long periods so storage is your main priority.

Awesome video! I just received a new Apollo City, and I read that I should remove the plastic collar around the valve stem from the back wheel to help avoid a flat tire. However, the post that mentioned this is a few months old. Is the plastic collar something that I should still be concerned about, and if so, how would I go about removing it? I am a complete novice when it comes to scooter (or any kind of vehicle) maintenance, so any feedback will help. Thanks!

Great video - Just a couple follow-up questions: 1.) How long after the unboxing of the escooter should the WD40 and lubrication application occur, would it be in 6 months? 2.) Is the replacement of hydraulic brakes the same as the process outlined in this video?
