It's always been like that, now that apple is becoming more greedy and spitting at their customers Spotify is taking advantage of that, making it public
Adam Lmao Well, with Pandora, I myself am more likely to find more music that I haven't heard of, yet I would like. Plus, I can't find some Japanese artists on Spotify. Not hating on Spotify or anything, it's good when I use it on my PS4 to replace any dull music on my games, but on the go I prefer Pandora.
***** photos2.appleinsidercdn.com/prototype-130311-1.jpg It's their prototype of the iPhone (not iPad, btw). It actually proves Apple invented the iPhone. Yeah, maybe Apple did copy Spotify, but stop going on to saying that Apple copied EVERYTHING.
This parody was flawless. How do you make shit like this in so little time? Yet still people complain non-stop and say that CollegeHumor is going downhill.
Nah, other people were busy copying other people's stuff long before Apple was a thing. They just thought it was a good idea. Because no, even their decision to copy shit wasn't original. They had to copy it from someone else.
That's a lie, good artists create and great artists create great things. Delusional megalomaniacs on the other hand steal then try to justify it by pretending to be artists.
Everyone complained about how small iPhones were in comparison to the Samsung S III back in the day and now that you have one, all you do is complaining about that its to big. Seriously I don't get you android fanboys. Sure Apple is a bit to pricy but guess what: Can't afford it? Don't buy it! In fact, same goes for every other product from every other company...
Zeppelans I rather have no phone than an iphone, not actually lying... It is disgusting to see these apple users, I don't wanna look like one of "them."
Why? Because they implement features and services that other companies already have? Newsflash: that's how innovation works. And every company does it. Saying only the company that creates something should be able to use it is idiotic.
+Ben Whoever fun fact. RU-vid is not a profitable business, and Alphabet (owner of Google) has been losing money by simply keeping RU-vid afloat, so Apple would never bother creating a RU-vid copy as good and free as RU-vid.
Don't blame them...it's better than filtering and deleting half a million "iSheep/Jobs would be rolling in his grave/your products fold/evil greedy company/samsung is better" comments on an hourly basis.
@@hwburner1524 Samsung is the company too they need to make money. However the difference between Samsung and apple is that Samsung doesn't go that low to make money. Samsung is good businessman a gentleman while apple is slimey greedy salesman who will go infinite lenghts to milk you for as much money as possible. Samsung sells you the full product with which you can do whatever you want, apple gives you 30% of the product for the full price and if you want to fully expirience it you need to pay more.
Fanboys will pay for it too! Perhaps Taylor Swift will write them an open letter criticizing their low image of women, then probably star in an ad promoting it.
And Apple Fans are too insecure about the product they use so they comment back and make them look ridiculous and ignorant. "'droid"? Get it right you ignorant piece of shit.
Obama is love Spoilt? Are you jealous your broke ass can't afford a low end iPhone? It's not good to be jealous of those wealthier than yourself. Shouldn't spend your life focusing on them.
"How does Apple music work? Just imagine if you were using Spotify.....................................................................................................................................................Drinks water............." LMFAO!!
Atleast if I choose to switch from iPhone to android I can still keep my Spotify music library. You begin using Apple Music, create your library, but realize that you're totally fucked if you want to listen to YOUR music on any other device that's not apple. I love Spotify because it interfaces really nicely over all devices, not just apples shit ecosystem. I can like a song on my iPhone, and it mirrors it exactly on my computer or vis Versa. It's easy. Plus Spotify's radio services and discover playlists are years ahead of Apple Music. Spotify has fantastic algorithms for that stuff and Apple Music tries but falls short and has obvious biased towards 'big new music'. I can put obscure music into Spotify's algorithms and it'll give me really good results, Apple Music wont work with anything that's not mainstream and when they try to be original, it suggests music worse than Pandora does. Idk, I've used Spotify for years now and idk why you'd ever think Apple Music was worth it.
I remember when Sony were the dominant force in the portable music world. MP3 was new, they had some CD walkman devices that could also play MP3, but no one was interested and so Sony didn't take the plunge. Apple took a risk with bringing out a dedicated MP3 player, or whatever equivalent compression format Apple use, and it swept to success due to being fashionable, something none of the other music tech giants had anticipated. By the time Sony, Philips and others brought out their rival systems, the iPod had replaced 'walkman' as the general name for 'music player'. The iPod was sub par for sound quality to its competitors, but no one cared. Apple aren't technology experts, they are a marketing superpower. They could sell you anything as long as it's white and instantly makes you part of the detestable 'cool club'. They have the ability to sell what others have failed to, and when they think they can't compete, they make their own and lock their users into it.
CSGuitars I've always said I've had to give them credit for being marketing geniuses. Their products are crappy and unoriginal, but they still manage to convince thousands of sheeple to buy it anyways. I remember going to buy a video MP3 player back in the day. I went to the store and they had a Zune and a video iPod. The zune had a bigger screen, and I can't remember if it was 4 or 8 times more memory (Zune had 120GB, can't remember if the ipod was 16 or 32) and the kicker: they were the same price.
CSGuitars ,this is so true, but as hardware giants, you can't beat apple,in terms of stability and the compatibility between the idevices and you're imac or mac book or mac pro is unbeatable and as a tech lover and a former pc builder and widows user myself ,my experience with those ,as well as the android platform,is although you got more say on the software, they tend to crash way more often , that combined with the price you pay for it,around 100 bucks, while osx is only 15 bucks, we only have apple in this house (wich never gave me problems and i excpect they never will) ,except for 1 laptop,a 2014 notebook running w8.1 that hasn't run as it should for 1 single day and believe me,i know my way around computers and windows, but i agree,if apple gives us more control over what we put on and how we use ios and osx and doesnt imprint stupid (stolen) apps, like stocks or health or any for that matter ,would it not be a great piece of hardware?! leon
CSGuitars Actually Sony was very threatened by mp3s in general because Sony also produced music at the time and didn't want to fuel a new device that would threaten other profitable sectors of their business. Basically, they were too big, too greedy and wanted to thwart change which always seems to happen when corporations get that big. They start caring more about holding on to what they've got instead of continually innovating. Apple, Microsoft and Google are all doing the same thing. They are all shooting themselves in the foot by trying to protect what they have.
+enticed2zeitgeist I think Google will always be top dog. They got information and that is power. Google will just buy anything that's innovative. And others will copy it, I guess.
@@lilacdoe7945 Honestly the same thing happened to me and if I knew it was going to be such a hustle, I would have stopped complaining about my Samsung
ZHA Shadow No, they are going to just make the phone now support panorama photos 5 years later then everyone else.... Oh they just did that. Oh, they are going to just make it a bit larger 5 years after everyone else... Oh they did that already too. Fuck, what are these cunts going to do when there is no one left to copy.
Bea MI would never never be caught using an apple, but I can see why people would use an one. Apple is meant for people who aren't tech savvy. Whereas android phones can be very complicated, depending on what you do with them. Also, android phones tend to be more open ended with customization.
But even when Jobs was still around they where patentsharking smaller companies - Apple's never been the innovator it wants to look like, just more succesful at marketing itself -> money -> legal teams to defend theft or sue small innovators out of their tech (or buy it, anyways, money, not good ideas)
Yeah. Do not select iCloud Music Library. It may sync with all of your devices and let you download songs from iTunes, but it will change your album covers up.
lol not at all. Pandora doesn't let you pick and choose songs it just goes through a random list of songs based off one song you chose. Spotify you can steam any song you want.
sammy kallman the music genome project is the most complex music theorem ever. it's hardly just a "random" selection. each song has hundreds of tags on it after being assessed by several music professionals and it's specifically designed to introduce you to different genres.
FishCakeIce Except with Pandora, I actually found out about artists with pretty good music that I've never heard of before. Sure, Spotify lets you play the songs you like, and it's a great app thanks to that, but what if the number of songs you know is limited? Yeah, I'm sticking with Pandora.
Jasmin Awany not at all! Pandora is internet radio. That means you can't choose to play any song you want, you're stuck with whatever it gets and there is a limited amount of skips. Apple Music and Spotify both have this radio system. BUT Spotify also allows to you save any album or track you want from any genre. You can play it when you want for as long as you want, the only catch is you have to watch a 15 second video every 30 minutes (or so it says, but in reality it's a lot less often) The only advantages to paying 99 cents a month is that 1) you don't have any more ads, which is pointless because ads aren't that distracting anyway, and 2) downloading music offline. Internet these days is literally everywhere, so why would you need offline music? That takes up tons of storage space anyway. Hell, even airplanes and cars offer Internet service these days, and if you're on a phone you can just use cellular to access internet. So the free version is really just as good as the paid.
Spotify on computer only lets you save songs for free. On the phone it is basically pandora unless you pay for premium. Premium is 10 bucks a month, or 5 if you are a student. So if you listen to music on your phone (Which is how most people do listen to music) then you want premium. Just thought I would clarify the things you got wrong. :) (Also having downloaded music is beautiful. It helps when you don't want to use data, or if you want the audio quality better)
I didn't get anything wrong, I was referring to Spotify on iPad, which is what I use all the time. I rarely use my iPhone for anything other than a phone, notwithstanding the occasional text message. On the iPad (and apparently computers) it is essentially free, and premium is just 99 cents. Even then it gives you like a free three month trial of Spotify premium. I've seen Spotify for iPhone, and while you can't play individual songs in an album when you want, you can get around that by saving the specific song you want in the album (and few or none else) then hitting shuffle play, which it allows you to do. That way you can play for free what you want as if you were on PC or Mac or tablet.
or the way they stole "the mouse"/ui integration from xerox (Sun had one before apple, too) and pretended it was their invention from the start? Never mind that the first mouse-like device was invented in the 1940's? Den of thieves and *liars* (that's the worst part, IMO - the lying).
+Bailey M as an android user i would rather have no emojis than the monstrosities included in my phone.. (seriously look up comparing tables, all android ones are atrocious, especially Google stock and HTC)
Motorola atrix with fingerprint scanner-2011 Touch iD-2013 4.7 inch android phone-2012 iphone 6-2014 You see the pattern. If you sign a 2 year contract on a flagship android phone, and get the newest iPhone when eligible for upgrade, you get essentially the same thing.
+Techno Arceus Why would you get a contract in the first place? Verizon and T-Mobile don't even have them, and many AT&T plans don't either. I have Cricket Wireless (AT&T owned with AT&T coverage) with 5 lines, and spend only $20 per month on each phone line, with unl talk text & 2g data, with 2.5GB of lte data EACH, and I have a Galaxy S6 (New for only $250 on Cricket's website when I got it) If I were to go to Verizon or AT&T, that would cost me AT LEAST $60 per line + either the full price of the phone ($500-$600), or an EXTRA $21 a month. If I want to I can get a new phone or change my plan whenever I please. Contracts are bullshit.
tyler calhoun it's not even possible to get a contract anymore unless you have us cellular. Contracts ended a while ago. I'd recommend switching to a different carrier that pays etfs.
You want a good phone? Get a damn Samsung S5, you can extend the fucking storage and get freedompop's free data plan or some shit. There, you got a phone with the build quality of Apple at half the cost and double the storage.
Spotify is a service that allows you to play music for free on your phone or your computer... It also has an ad free version for 10 bucks a month with certain premium features like unlimited skips ability to download music for offline use and other stuff (7 if you're a student I think) www.spotify.com/
