I had a 10th gen iPad ru-vid.comUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.
Best review on Ipad Air 5 and Magic Keyboard. Very useful information for those who are considering buying this device. i have viewed many Ipad reviews and this video was the most helpful.
I love my magic keyboard with ipad air 5 + stage manager and use it constantly. I usually hate trackpads but the gesture features make mice obsolete. The adaptive backlight is a nice feature for saving battery life. You get what you pay for!
@@jacopodragotta3809bro just don’t get it. If you can’t make the choice after all the videos you’ve probably watched now, you don’t need it, you’re just trying to rationalize getting it.
other companies now have a case that you can put on with the magic keyboard to protect the sides and your apple pencil! also, i have had my ipad for like a year now and im considering getting the keyboard because sometimes typing what i want to do but for math stuff. I wouldnt change my iPad for anythingggg!
I usually don’t comment on videos but this is really a great review great job dude! I have a 12.9 pro and wanted to ask how easy is it to switch from typing and writing with the Apple Pencil? Does the screen fold flat so I can write comfortably?
Thank you sm means a lot! & so it wont fold flat sadly but just snap off the iPad and gently lay it in front of you. Its really seamless for me and it all happens in like a split second so it seems natural. Laying it flat isnt possible since the keyboard will be on your left side and with the small angle of articulation i mentioned… it just doesnt work that well :/ once again, thanks sm and thank u for the comment!
@@TheJuanOnly much love brotha I really Enjoy ur channel I’m happy I found it and appreciate the speedy reply🙌 I have an otter box pro defender case on my iPad right now - would u personally recommend the upgrade to the magic case?
Man im so appreciative of you, love to have u as part of the fam 💯 honestly…. The magic keyboard is AMAZING 😂😭 its just the price tag… if its within your price range, then yes, DO IT . You’ll LOVE IT 💯💯🙌🏼
@@TheJuanOnly awesome I’ll look into it much appreciated it I think the switch will be worth it, I’m switching to be a health sci major and think the typing and writing will be a monstrous upgrade, what’s your insta?
I bought a Keychron mechanical, a Magic Mouse, a hand-made leather folio case, and a really high-quality adjustable iPad stand for a bit less than the price of the Magic Keyboard. It's great tech, but it is overpriced by at least 40%. It's more than an Xbox Series S or a base model iPad, it's almost a third of the price of my 12.9 Pro, and it's not great on viewing angles, using the pencil, using F keys... For the price, it needs to be perfect.
As the new academic year is about to start I was considering getting one. But as an Econ major I need to use my pen for half my classes and writing on the magic keyboard is not stable. I can’t justify buying it to only use it half the time especially at that price point
