*_I was one of the first few people to have an iPod Touch in the world the very first day it was released. I was working in Japan at the time and the iPhone was not available so I just had an iPod Touch reserved in an electronic shop. I will not forget the feeling of using a touchscreen of the iPod Touch and the first time I zoomed in a photo. I was so amazed. I was only 23._*

Yep. I loved going to Walmart and browsing the web from the wifi there. I actually remember the apps that it had where you could get your own phone number on the iPod touch and make calls. You just had to click some ads and such.
I was in my 12th grade in Canada when I got this. I remember cherish it like my baby and bring it with me everywhere around. It's still in my house somewhere, even thought I never really use it anymore but sometime I will still turn it on and play around with it.
I have two iPod touch, the 4th and the 5th. Both are great! And I use them only for music. In a cell phone, the music is always interrupted by a call or message and its very annoying, but with iPod, there is not that problem. So i think its a superior experience.
I have an old iPod touch 4th gen, when it was new, it worked pretty flawlessly, I loved it, now its gotten so laggy and crashes often, its almost unusable, I now use it as a music player, alarm, as well as for light surfing and email
absolutely genius. obviously a full fledged iphone wasn't for a kid/teenager, so they made the ipod touch, pretty much the same product. smart marketing
I have a gen 1 8GB iPod touch that I got when I bought my first computer back in 2008. A minor hiccup or two, but it's served me well so far. If I upgrade, it'll be to an iPhone.
When the one with the app store came out, it's a breakthrough. The one with the Camera & facetime is awesome. The one with multi-color (the blue color) is truly a hit back then 🙃 Wonder when will they update the current generation in the year 2021 and revise the price tag of it.
The longevity of iPhones which become massively cheaper over time made the iPod Touch an obsolete device. I had a 2nd Gen and thereafter I bought the first iPhone when i managed to buy one and since then every few generations I get an iPhone.
i have the first one BUT im impressed that every animation made in that ipod every single transition made to that ipod doesnt lag on the 0.1GB ram just WOW!!!!
i got the newest ipod touch 6th generation gold color... this ipod i bought when i got my 1st job was so proud plus shocked cuz of the price 299.99 for the 8GB LOL
In my opinion the touch wasn't worth it when it was introduced.. but now with all the updates and applications.. its truly an amazing device.. its like a mobile mac.. i just bought one last week and its amazing!!
The reason I love working for apple is that this is the ipod touch 4 generations ago and most other brands still aren't as good as this. Let alone the things like facetime and HD video capture on the new ipod touch.
I have the 32GB iPod touch! It rocks! I'm not jailbreaking it, I support Apple and want my iPod touch to be as it was meant to be! Each song with album art, capitals, titles, genres, years, artists!
the reason he specifically mentioned the safari browser is simple. A good number of mobile devices have a browser that doesn't work as normally as a regular html compatible browser. In explaining he'll have a safari browser, it shows that it works differently than many other mobile browsers that cannot translate css, tables, etc correctly.
