Stayf Draws thank u so much,im a poor kid without your vid like WTF maybe i will repurchase the fcking expansive apple pencil but it alljust abou the nib THANK UU
I havent been using my apple pencil second generation for 2 years or more(I didnt really use it when I first received it).I havent charged it either.I found my apple pencil yesterday and charged it for 8 hours overnight. The next morning (I use ipad pro)i put my apple pencil on the magnet of ipad,it does not show me the percentage nor does it connect. When i go to bluetooth and had my apple pencil put on the magnet of ipad, the option to connect the apple pencil doesnt show up neither. I would really appreciate it if there was a solution^^
My sister gave me a pencil last month. I just got a 6th Gen this weekend. Now time to explore. I am glad you did this video. Thanks. I am planning a painting app comparison. Quite the challenge.
Thank you so much , I was getting frustrated because my apple pencil didn’t although it was charging normally, I never thought that the tip could be screwed on , I was noticing a gap between the tip and the body of the pencil , but I thought it was normal. Now the pencil is working again and the responsiveness is better than before, Thank you again
Oh my god 😂😂 I was literally here STRESSING because it would not work for the life of me. I too noticed the gap and didn’t think anything of it 😂 I read this comment before watching the video and look at it again. I see it’s actually very loose 😂🤣😂😂
Thanks man, I never knew the nib could be unscrewed. I thought fit was normally like that. This is my first day with this symbiotic relationship. I never knew a writing experience could flow so well. I hate the friction of pencils, and the response is virtually instant and has allowed me a new creative freedom. Long story short, I will never go back to paper to write or brainstorm. Liked
Oh my god! Thank you so much. I have been struggling for days trying to figure out what is wrong and as you said all I needed to do was screw the nib back on! Thank you !
Any new ideas? I’ve tried all of the above, changed my nib 3 times, left it charging to update if needed, tightened nibs, tried removing screen protector, placed new screen protector sheet. I am using paper like sheet, not tempered glass or plastic cover. I’ve tried it without any screen cover, over tried restarting the iPad, I’ve tried forgetting device, I’ve tried making sure zoom feature in accessibility is off, but it skips in apple apps and third party apps like procreate and Zinnia. I tried calling Apple tech support but no one answered there with coronavirus going on; I am stumped and I. Am an artist so this tool is imperative.
Did you try to disconnect your Ipad from Power Supply while writting or drawing? That skidding occurs on mine only when it is hooked up to the power supply, still anoying....
@@Yalmary if u need help with this, I had contacted apple support and my specific issue was that the iPad itself will refuse to connect to the pencil if the battery is too low. my battery was at 5% -- it was plugged in but it hadn't had enough time to charge up when I was trying to draw.
Thanks for posting, and it really helped! I just received the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9. The pencil battery died. The pencil has to be placed up towards the top of the iPad and NOT the bottom. I wrongly assumed that if it has a magnetic connection, then the pencil is charging.
My Apple Pencil (first generation) worked great every time until one day when I placed it and my iPad Pro on an ottoman when I left the room for a few minutes. When I returned, I found that my bichon had thought the pencil looked interesting, and she chewed up both ends. After telling her what a bad dog she was, the “fix” was to run to the Mac store and buy a new one (Apple Pencil, not bichon dog).
Many many thanks for your video. I was about to go to the Apple shop to have them look at my pencil because if I wanted to write the only things I get was a series of tiny tiny dots ! I was very upset. You made me turn my smile up ! Thanks again and congratulation for your video, It surely help a lot of people like me !
Pencil 1 is the same except for the silly plugin. The loose nib fooled me shortly after I first started with Procreate. Many thanks for the lessons, by the way.
My Apple Pencil wasn’t working despite trying all these things, but I saw I comment that recommended that if you take off your iPad case (If u have one) and put the pen back onto the magnet, it works! I tried it and it luckily did for me :) hope it helps anyone having trouble!
Thank you SOOOOOOO much for the advice i did the “forget this device “ process that you spoke of in this video....And i was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked like charm!!! Really appreciate it !!! Sincerely Damian Conti (Rialto,California)
So, I get the “Apple Pencil” window but not the tap to connect option. I’ve done all the steps and my Apple Pencil still doesn’t work. It stopped working out of nowhere.
Mine still didn't work. The issue os like this. I drew with my pencil until I realized that it didn't work anymore. So, I wanted to charge it. But when I wanted to charge, the apple pencil didn't show me any percentage level. I was confused. Then I tried to do all of your tips, but none was successful. Please help me.
My apple pencil 2 doesnt show the scribble option, i dont know why. im updated To the latest version and tried restarting my ipad but it wont show the option.
I tried everything.. but when I put my Pencil on the magnet the small button shows up but it doesn't connects, also its not shown up at ,,other devices" pleasee help
Bluetooth on, I’ve turned iPad on and off multiple times, tried the “forget device”, I keep connecting and there is no pop up window saying connected....
You have to plug it into the charging spot on your device make sure Bluetooth is turned on and press pair when it says Apple Pencil and it will say pair and no press pair and it will work again trust me a few days ago mine wasn’t working either but I used this trick and it works
I had problems too it started working when I slid it in place to the right on the magnet I probably didn’t have it fully in place and I also turned off and on the Bluetooth
I haven’t used my Apple Pencil in almost 2 years because I can’t connect it. When I put it on the side it does show is place on the tablet but it doesn’t show in the blothooth
When I connect my Apple Pencil to my iPad Air 4 it does connect, and it even recognises it but it doesn’t charge. It only says ‘Apple pencil’ at the top
I did everything, from unscrewing and screwing the tip back on to resetting eveything, this thing just wont work. It worked for like a month until the pen stopped drawing mid-line and now it either draws with interruptions, without pressure reaction or not at all. Please help me.
