I realized once I finished the video that I forgot to include the Boolean data type. A boolean is either a true or false value (in AppleScript, you'll write it without quotes around it. Example boolean statement... set x to true

Thanks for keeping your audience in mind with illustrations (great video format as well) that answer possible questions for the viewers, well done! I hope you will provide the next advance level of data type in hopefully with classes and objects that sometimes I find the Dictionary to be rather abstruse. I realize that you want to keep the videos in a reasonable length, but very much appreciate all your efforts.

Great video! You can also use the '&' operator to concatenate lists and records. Also, good discussion about reserved names in AppleScript. This can trip up new users who may get errors that they don't understand because they're unknowingly using a reserved name as a variable.

@@ClickingKeys Definitely. It looks like you have a good progression in these videos. One thing I'd like to suggest: a video that shows users how to use the AppleScript dictionary of an app like Keynote or Pages to write scripts. Walking the user through the dictionary suites and learning the terminology of classes, functions, and enumerations, then using that knowledge to construct a working script would be valuable. This is an advanced topic and would probably be further down the road.

I do think I could have gone into more detail in that video. I struggle trying to balance the length of the video and the right amount of detail.

Hey, noticed it jumped from Ep 4 to Ep 6. Where are the others, or am I missing something? Would be great to have the episode number in the Title.
