I have been denied this year . Im a nurse, full time student in university, a mom, and work part time. Applied to visit my mom and was denied. I would never accept a us visa if my mom dies and I gotta go visit her in a caskette. If I cant see her alive I dont wanna see my momma dead. She gets sick at times. Ppl who have no job etc got visa. hi mam...us visa officer denied me b1 visa twice....i have no home in india because i do not need to build one as i live with my parents...now there is no column in ds160 if one has a property in a foreign country....i have also fixed term deposits in local bank and that is also not considered....moreover i have a credit card too with a good cibil score
i applied for B1/B2 and consular officer said " unfortunately you're not qualified for visa at this time" he only ask me a 3 questions. 1. why you want to travel in us 2. what's your company name 3. what's you role in your company he didn't asked me for bank statement or any other documents* if i apply again do i have any advantage?
USMC Veteran here with some questions and please pardon my grammar. We tried to get my 93 year old aunt a Visa last year and she was denied. I also think this is because she has nothing to show that is tying her to Mexico. Does it matter if that person can work or not in the states due to their advanced age? Basically my aunts "adoptive" kid obtained residence last year after wating for 15 years however my 93 year old aunt did not. This is due to the fact that my family thought a visa would be easier to obtain in less time than applying for a residency and wating around for 15 years since in the past they did not have enough $ for my 93 year old aunt to apply for residency. However since my aunt is getting old and is very old the family planned ahead and transferred the rights to the house and land between all my aunts and uncles. Unfortunately she was denied like I said and we do plan on re-applying this year in the fall. Is this the most effective way of doing this for my aunt? or is there anything else we could do for her? Please some advise or a referral to someone that can guide me to some sort of information. I can also pay for services if need be. The plan is to have a way for us to take care of my aunt since the people that did take care of her now can only be out of the states for 6 months(residency) so we have a hard time with the other 6 months. We have met in person as well as she decided to visit me for a month on a visit visa and got engaged. I have funded her entire 30 days stay including her airplane tickets. Now her family wants to invite me for Christmas. We initially wanted to apply for K1 (Fiance) Visa directly. Since it takes 4 to 5 months of time to get approved, we are planning to apply for Visit Visa and then later apply for K1 Visa Once I am back from the states. Does she have to apply separately? or is there any option her husband can add her or she cah add him? Hi Becky, it depends what country you are applying from. Visitors from Europe (most countries) can travel to USA on a Visa Waiver Program - it does not require for them to apply for a visa.
