That's too bad about the storyline thing, but otherwise these Murphy's beginner packages seem pretty good. A nice step up from reading those cigarette paper instructions back in the day
For sure. I love the whole vibe and nostalgic feeling they're going for. For the most part they've nailed it. Just remove that one line from the ad copy.
Came here for a Beastie Boys or RATM intro, got Bob Marley…not disappointed. Expected to get a review of a dice cup at the end, got one for a card trick instead…still not disappointed. 😊
@@StoneColdMagic Let me give you some Apprentice Line-level patter as a hint: “I was doing some card tricks for a fella the other night, and he must have had one too many to drink. When I asked him to shuffle, he turned half the deck face up and shuffled into the half face down…”
@@erictrainor4345 Crap! I can't believe I missed that. Nice. Sorry. I guess I am a little slow. I even have the Magic Power in me, and I always try to live by the adage, "Follow Your Heart." But I still missed it.
It's maybe a tad translucent, but otherwise, I think it's fine. It also depends on your character and the effect you're using it for. It' not exactly a Max Maven-style performance piece, but if the routine can justify the use of a "dice shaker from one of your board games", etc. I think it's totally fine for that. :0]
Lee Majors was at the last event I worked! Random as I'm in Texas. Just thought you'd get a kick out of that. Anyway, I was just looking at dice yesterday. Can you recommend any where the spectator rolls to a forced number?
Nice. He seems like a cool down-to-earth dude. For forcing a roll, there are weighted dice, but they the never look right. They kind of wobble. Then there is the class 7/11 set that will always roll a seven or a eleven. Then there are dice that are missing numbers, and others that are all the same number. Check out Diamond Jim Tyler's website. He has the best dice products, and a ton of different gimmicked dice.
