Thanks for your video. I bought a 2019 4’X8’ Venturist off road camper and had all the upgrades added. It’s been the best investment I’ve made! I pull my camper with my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and it’ll go anywhere my Jeep will go. Have fun on your fishing trips.

In MN a utility trailer can get a lifetime registration, so I only had to pay a one time fee at registration

Good one. One of my favorites is the 4x8 as I want to go small & light as possible. I just thought of putting some type of futon couch or the like in there hopefully to just have enough room on the floor up against the wall to put my feet down & a tv on the opposite wall.

Run & Gun Fishing ! I picked up a 19' travel trailer for the same reasons . I fish from Cape Cod to Delaware . Those runaways campers with the yak rack look perfect ! Good luck with your future purchase !

I bought the Cool Camp model, all composite, purchased at XYZ Camping in 2022. Mike there was great placed my order online and picked it up in PA. 4 hour plus trip for me to get there worth every second. The plus time cam from every time I stopped for gas or stretching, people came over to ask questions. I use a Rock Pals 612w solar power station (caught one of their deals with a solar panels. I run an IceCo refrigerator/freezer and have a small ice machines. Cook on a Pit Boss which is like the more expensive flat grill Blackstone. Nothing like steak and onions on a grill after some hard hiking. Nothing like glamping with fresh cold ice for drinks or putting on those fish to bring home. Went through one night wicked stormy night he first week just before going home from one of my favorite getaway parks. I planned being in the storm to give it the full test. Storm was so bad the park sent rangers the next morning to check on every one. I was snug dry and comfy. Some people while I was there brought me small fruit pint baskets as a thank you for showing them the interiors and answering questions. The inside has a slight African Wakanda them. Two warrior women on the walls and wall fern art near the air conditioner. I should post the video from my phone someday. patio mat as I step out with a small magnetic clip awning with the poles for shade. Keeping it simple. Small flat tv with a kickstand and older DVD play play off the power station for glamping, less than $40 for all. Walmart USB fan for $12 cause the air cond is to much for me. I just like the air moving. So with the power station I am off-grid. I can boondock in the Adirondack Mtns of New York State. Many happy fishing days and hope you make it to the finger lake for additional fishing. You may be able to boondock at the BassPro Store in Auburn. You have to ask management of course.

A clam tent would go great with that camper check them out I have one. I can set it up in 2 minutes by myself and its 12 foot in diameter.

Thats is here in PA I will have to come down and look it over like it once a year I tent out fishing

Great video. I appreciate that you actually used a measuring tape and physically got inside to evaluate the trailer. Perhaps you or someone else can tell me if their air conditioner can run off of a 2,000 watt inverter generator?

that's perfect. i just need the 6x8 with solar panels hooked up to the electrical so i can be completely off grid for a weekend.

It is stretching it to call it a camper. I would call it a small metal box on wheels. You can get a 6 by 8 or a 6 by 10 cargo trailer for less money and have the same thing.

The guys that make these are just down the road from me in Florida, I've been over there a couple of times... nice people. I've been begging them to make a 5 foot model... 6 is too wide, and 4 is just too narrow... but to date they just refuse... I guess they are doing too well with the line they have. In my humble opinion a 5 X 10 would offer much more utility than the 6 by 8... you could put a galley on the back, and still have a full 8 ft inside... not sure why they won't do it. Very frustrating to me actually. I would buy one tomorrow! They are good people, they just say they can't make a 5X10 for the same price as the 6 X 8... it's the same square ft 48 vs 50??? I'm guessing they don't have a piece of equipment they would need, and they just won't buy it.

Hey MOC... rob-kayak (from snagged) here... thanks for all your vids.. always get me stoked ! Doubt I inspired you with my trip last year... and my trailer bivwack... mychesapeakebay.net/kayakfishing/images/bivwack.jpg But if you look at the pic it might give you some ideas... Don't know if your home owners association does not permit you to have trailers on the street or in your driveway.. and thus I can see needing to keep it in the garage. But bigger is always better. Notes... If you install a platform for the bed you have storage underneath. Bed width.. is a pain... not many "good" air mattresses are narrow. I've done a lot of investigation of memory foam.. etc etc... Even considered chopping a real mattress in half to better fit... a narrower profile in the pic... you don't need much width for a bivwack. Shelving.. a big bonus... I am working on some fold down/up mods. Lighting... you want an overhead light.. no biggie.. there are a bunch of led's you can get battery operated that you can install. get a "detachable" one... that way you can grab it when you need to search for your stuff... or whatever... mine was great on my trip last year. In the picture... the bed is a plywood sheet that is attached with hinges and folds up. It is actually supported in the "down" position by my storage containers. No real platform to support it.
