I am a big fan too. James Rollins really knows how to write some really interesting action adventure fictional stories that are so well researched, that they sound almost as thought they are true. :)
I had never heard of him until last year when I asked a book seller for a recommendation and she mention it. And I am so surprised, because those books are just the perfect read - both relaxing and exciting. I can't believe more people aren't talking about them 🤷♀️
@@libraryunbounded my first of his was Amazonia (he has a lot of standalones before he started writing Sigma Force. Lots of backlist if you want to dive in
Fire 🔥 looking forward to eye of the world read. I just finished my second run through of the Wot series. It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoy hearing how other people react to it, good or bad
LOL 🤣 Well, thank you for not doing it anyway, Amanda 😂🌸 I did definitely love Sorcery of Thorns. We'll see about the novella soon. I've been told it's okay (in an earlier comment actually) but nothing spectacular, which is basically what I expect 😊
I know exactly what you mean! I only read 3 of the books so far, but I remember The Eye of the World being my favorite one. It has this amazing dreadful and, at the same time, cosy atmosphere. And indeed, the first book of a beloved series is always special ❤️📚
Yes, I actually read book 2 and 3 as well and kind of dropped out because I was a bit frustrated with some of the characters and their unfathomable relationship 😅 But I do like the core story and I want to read the whole thing so I am going to make an effort to understand it all better this time. Where did you get to in the series?
The game was so nice to you this month. I'll be participating in Orilium and trying to do all the prompts like I did last year, but I'm already not feeling it 😅 Wish me luck!
Oh, good luck, Leticia! Orilium is a lot of fun, but it can be a bit demanding and I can see how it can overwhelm you sometimes. Which carrier are you going for? ✨📚
I was so excited to see a video! I couldn't click fast enough to watch! You got this. Good luck. I think I'm finally slowly getting out of my reading slump! Fingers crossed 🤞 lol. I hope you are doing well. Happy reading! 📚
Oh Justina, you made me smile so wide with your lovely comment! ❤️❤️❤️ I do hope the reading slump is gone, I know how frustrating it is 🤞 I'm doing well, thank you for that, I hope you are too (minus the slump)! ❤️
@libraryunbounded Awww 💓💓 yay! 😁 I'm doing overall well too. I'm also looking forward to more warmer weather too. I'm so happy to hear you are well. ❤️❤️
Thank you, Ash! ❤️ I quite enjoyed Sorcery of Thorns, even though fantasy romance isn't really my thing. But then again, that's all of M. Rogerson's books and I have so far liked all of them, so... 😊
Oh Kornelia, I am happy that my video was helpful and I'm sorry for whatever you're going through. I hope whatever made your day difficult was solved or can be solved easily. If there's anything I can do to help you, or if you simply want to talk, please send me an email (it's in the channel bio). ❤️ And oh, am I happy that you are now playing the TBR game!!! ❤️❤️❤️ It means so much to me and I hope it brings you tons of beautiful and memorable reads! 📚 Yeah, I don't expect to be mind-blown by Mysteries of Thorn Manor, it's more of being happy to see these characters again 😊 Happy reading and may you have a beautiful April! 🌸
What a fun pile of books! I'm reading The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy for the Buzzword challenge. Also, Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts...because Kansas, and almost 🌪time. 😅
Thank you, Starla! ❤️ So, you're reading about the tides and i'm reading about the moon 😊 Oh, Kansas! 💖 Do you know, when I was a kid, a dreamt of living in Kansas all the time (because of The Wizard of Oz). I have a weird fascination with tornados to this day. If I lived anywhere where those were prominent, I would've probably become one of those weirdos who chase them for science 😂
@libraryunbounded The tides and moons, perfect! ...and I am the fraidy cat who loves the movie, but races to the basement and hides in a cubby hole the second the tornado siren goes off! 🤣🤣😅
How do you read so many chunky fantasy series books in parallel. I am unable to remember the characters and the plot when i keep switching between books. Then i eventually forget and end up DNFing
Ah Ajay, that is a great question. See, the thing is, I kind of need to read multiple different things at the same time. I have ADHD and if I don't switch between multiple options, I'm gonna lose interest and read nothing (probably). Unfortunately for me, I tend to like big chunky reads and so I end up in this situation 😅 Frankly, I forget too and have to go back and reread things occasionally, but recently I have developed a system for note taking and it helps me to keep things orderly in my head. I could make a video about it if people are interested :)
