The OP is clearly saying that as a “comic book fan” that they cannot believe that the Marvel comics that they have loved were turned into the MCU nor on top of that can they believe that the character of Aquaman was made into movie.

If that were the case I wouldn't even be watching this type of video because I obviously wouldn't be a true fan of comic books. I probably forgot more about DC and Marvel comic book stories than most of you have ever read. So let me clarify it for those who didn't understand what I was saying. It's a great time to be alive as a comic book fan period. The MCU is quite possibly the greatest franchise in movie history and as a fan of both DC and Marvel comics reading both growing up I could've never dreamed of the MCU existing. So the MCU is unreal to me as a comic fan. However as great as the MCU has been and continues to be with all its success I still would've never thought Aquaman would ever be adapted into a live action movie and a damn good one at that. That's what I was saying. As a comic book fan its a great time to be alive with these movies without even getting into the TV shows as well. I'm well aware Aquaman is a DC movie or DCEU movie if the DCEU is still considered a thing since the failure of justice league and the issues with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavil now remored to no longer be Batman or Superman. Hopfully they will eventually bring the Flash to the big screen and reset most of the DCEU with a flashpoint movie. DC definitely needs to get a flash movie in development sooner rather than later. I believe the flash if written well could bring in a massive amount of money at the box office.

What are you talking about? Both companies were around at relatively the same time. And all their popular characters came out of the same eras of comic history. Also what does the century old comics industry have to do with scripts from 2018 that aren't even similar (hence why it was a joke).
