With all the choice out there, why go for sliders which require you to drill plenty holes in your panels? Doesn't make sense to me. I bought the Rockhard Patriot sliders from you guys. A much better proposition as far as I am concerned.

Looks great but body drilling, silicone gasket, and modifying the provided screws, and I haven’t looked at the price….. going to pass. Less is more.

I love ARB products and their rock sliders look stout! As an Aviation Maintenance Technician specializing in sheet metal repairs, I have no fear of drilling into the body, and you demonstrated the proper steps to prevent corrosion from forming; taking those precautions alleviates my concerns over rust developing down the road. 😎

im gonna rock the icon or rock slide engineering sliders for my jt, but gotta wait for these dyantrac 60/80s to be delivered cause im broke now. 40s + stock 44 = ouch

Love ARB. Live in the Salt Belt - would NEVER want to drill this many holes in that location in steel body. Even if you paint and silicone your nut-zerts... 5 years down the road you'll have rust bubbles for sure. Especially from stuff getting caught between the installed panel and the body. If you wheel in mud you are going to get small bits of gravel etc stuck in there and it will wear through the paint. Sorry - love ARB but would not do this mod anywhere there is water or salt... just my $0.02. Thanks for the video!

There are definitely downsides to drilling holes in the body and road salt is one of them.

IIRC all the body panels you drill into are aluminum so rust is a non-issue.

These are ok. ARB makes cool products but try Shrockworks JT sliders and enjoy lifting both tires with a farm Jack. Mark at Shrockworks produces a strong fantastic made in USA product. I own 3 sets. TJ, JL & J T

bad idea, you are installing this rock slider to protect the body, but you already damaged it

If they are bolted to the chassis, doesn’t bolting them to the body negate any movement between the chassis and body? I’d imagine all the body anchors would eventually rip out of the sheet metal?? Appreciate your thoughts or comments Northbridge.

They're bolted to the body and the body mounts, not the frame, so the rock sliders and body move together.

Hold on there, the body mounts are part of the frame, there fore, you are creating a solid connection between the body and the frame. What am I missing here.@@northridgenation
