Arbor Vitae, The Tree of Life Pendant Tutorial Reversible Two-Sided Tree of Life Jewelry
Enjoy your Winter Solstice! Learn to make this gorgeous, detailed, reversible, wire wrapped Tree of Life pendant! My new tree frame uses longer wire so that we can add bare wire over the wrapped tree branch ends... hiding all those tiny ends between the big wires! I hope you have fun! Materials:
16 inches of 16 gauge, round soft copper wire (you can sub with 18g, and/or square wire) (Frame Wire)
16 inches of 22g Half Round wire (bale wire)
33 Feet of 28g, round copper wire (Tree Sculpture)
8mm or 10mm Round, Freshwater Pearl Coin shape bead (or any flat round bead you want).
Tools:
Flush Cutters
Round Nose pliers
Bent or Chain Nose pliers
6 inches of cardboard
Optional
Hammer and Bench Block and Sandpaper

Hammer the Frame 09:00
Wrap the Bale 12:55
.... Start the Tree Sculpture 16:42
Attach the tree, roots first to the frame 56:45
Attach the branches to the frame 1:12:00
.... Fold over the Bale and make the upper Frame 1:22:00
Attach the Fresh Water Pearl Coin Bead 1:50:00
