In this video, I'm exploring beautiful Southern Utah on my Royal Enfield Himalayan. I ride north on Comb Wash Road toward Arch Canyon to get a little elevation and a bit more challenging terrain.
This is a great video for anyone looking to explore Southern Utah on a motorcycle. Along the way, I show you some of my interesting spots, washes, some sandy bits, a "pond" and even a few old structures. Arch Canyon is just ahead and I can't wait to "find" it. Perfect Ride Ron! Looking forward to more videos. Those tires are something else. The areas you choose to take us along are epic. Overcast....no problem. Vegas was 70 last two days and drooling gorgeous. Standing room only riding out to Calico basin and Red Rock canyon. We will suffer in July and August though. Ride forth!

The sun is currently out and I had to stand there a bit and get some vitamin D to recharge. I am a little jealous, but you are correct. When you’re at 100 we will still be 80 at the base of the trail at most. Thanks Edward!

I really enjoyed that virtual run out, that's all I'm getting at the moment. We've still got snow and freezing temperatures here in the UK. I'm going to give March a miss, I'll be back out in April. Ride safe

Seems a beautiful place to ride and escape the noise and chaos or work. I wanted to see you tackle the big deep water crossing but you made the right choice. Maybe when you find a riding partner.

Yes! There were a few sketchy sandy places. Still have to pay attention, but a completely different experience altogether. When the snow stops, I have even so many plans. Heck, even California is filled with water! I suppose that is a good thing. Thanks!

Thanks for the ride and commentary. Have you tried the Avenza map app? I’ve used them in the Black Hills and the Wyoming Big Horns. Very helpful to see exactly where you’re at. No cell phone service needed if you download your maps before your ride.

Thanks for that Dave! I have the on x off-road app that works pretty well. It’s downloadable as well. I could have probably gotten off and zoomed in and maybe found it, but I sure as heck don’t know where that road would have been. It was a bit frustrating for sure. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve heard off it but after I got the other app. Probably should prepare a bit more prior to driving two hours…Whatdya do? Thanks!

I chose these so I can fold them up. When it stops snowing, I’m looking forward to see how well they work. It’ll be a good challenge. If the dealer had the hard panniers in stock I would have bought them then. Thanks for engaging!
