Jealous you have such beautiful riding so close to home. Helmet is quieter, but kinda missing hearing the Himi chugging along in the background. Looking forward to Part 2!

Love the video and location! I hiked Sand Canyon West in June of 22 and loved it. Can't wait to come back.

Hah! At least part of Moki Dugway is the part I stumbled on at the end of this. It was a really neat ride up. If I would have gotten there earlier I would have had more time to explore but digging out of the snow put me behind a bit more than I anticipated. Great area! Thanks 🙏

Man, I went straight from, Hey, this guy’s alright.. to “Man I envy this guy”… what an awesome ride… wish I lived around there. I’d ride the Himalayan there one weekend then the Monkey next. Great adventure there my friend. 👍🏻🏍️💨

@@swcoloradoadventures Maybe it was one of the shots I did with the Insta 360 at the end of a long pole. It looks like an aerial shot above and in front of the motorcycle.

Great video! I got in about 10 miles today in freezing weather just to get the Himalayan out of the garage, but not near as scenic as your ride. I hope to get out to this part of Utah sometime this year.

Hey Roger! Thanks for that. I’ve been mainly around Moab. This was my first time in this area. Kind of like your valley. I had to go south, west and then north to find this spot southwest of Blanding. It was fun. There are a ton of spots like this from what I see, so, more explorin’ to do! Thanks

You need to snow stud a set of winter tires for your bikes Tuesday work good in the dirt also...dry pavement is sketchy though

Thank you Ron for bringing us along. Breathtaking footage and what a gorgeous day. The background music goes perfect with the adventure. Is your navigation gauge an option? I believe they were discontinued on the 2022 Himalayan. Is there an entrance fee to the Valley of the gods?

Hello Edward! Of course. That was another fun ride. Thank you for saying so about the music. I hope it worked. I really haven’t messed with the compass, if that’s what you’re talking about. I probably will now. The tripper nave was new for 22 so my assumption. It was not an option that I saw. In fact, I wasn’t offered any options except add on accessories from the catalog like panniers and hand guards. It’s got a section in the owners manual. Got the choke, Bi starter too. That was supposed to go away on the Euro 5 model but not really US model. So, great question! Thanks!

Hello Christopher! It is technically. You can get back to the area I came in by road but it’s not a loop inside the fun stuff. There is more out there than just what I rode, so it looks like you could make a full weekend of it. Thanks!

YO, RON I AM GLAD YOU TOOK MY SUGGESTION AND WENT FOR THAT MOTO-TRIP. I DROVE A (TRUCK) THROUGH THAT VALLEY YEARS AGO. COME SPRING I AM GOING TO TAKE MY 21 HIMMY- FULLY LOADED WITH OUTDOOR GEAR AND CAMP THERE ON MY WAY TO THE NORTH RIM OF THE GRAND CANYON FOR ANOTHER VISIT. thats an amazing place you have on your doorstep ,be it two hours away only . i would have to drive two days to escape the snow lol . do you get a lot of snow ? we get almost daily from nov or december until march so the riding season here is only six or seven months !

Very likely not as much as you. We have almost 4 feet on the ground. Its pretty early to have that much already. Still a lot of winter to go. Be safe out there! Thanks

I used to live in Cedar City, Utah...it's beautiful up there...truly God's country in Utah. Plus you don't have a helmet law, which is nice once n a while. But not recommended
