How many shots do Archers need for each unit in the game?
Important Addition:
All Archers in the game have the exact same damage per arrow, so the number of shots between them is identical.
Furthermore, I excluded Tower Ballistas and Mangonels, because there is no definitive answer to, how many shots it will take for them. First, there is the problem with the hit rate, which is about 15 - 20%. Second, there are way too many differences in hit rate and damage based on the elevation difference.
The only exception will be in my upcoming video about Fire Ballistas (there are planned 5 in total: Archers, Crossbowmen, Slingers, Fire Ballistas and Tower Ballistas). Thats mainly, because Fire Ballistas have normally a 100% accuracy rating, which makes an exact number of shots possible.
If you want to know, how many Archer shots Tower Ballistas and Mangonels can take, if we assume, every shot is a succesful hit and the archers have no elevation bonus, the answer is:
Tower Ballistas: 31 Shots
Mangonels: 50 Shots
Originally, these data was part of the videos too, but it looked way out of place (because of all the missing arrows and the unclarity, whether the number of shots or the number of clean hits should count).
