Just wondering how your 100 arrows a week ended up. Im going to build one of these in a simple frame behind a stacked square archery target. On the front of the backstop there will be a Home Depot softer fatigue mat & a few inches behind it will be the TSC 3/4" stall mat. The targets r stacked on logs off the ground. So the backstop will be held up with a very heavy rope hanger which will hang from a heavy rope ratcheted between 2 trees. That way it will be the right height & won't touch the ground & rot the frame.
Holds up really well as long as you're not using it AS the target. A couple of misses are fine, and even then..It would need a LOT of missed arrows hitting the same spot over and over.
Thanks for the great video. Is there a particular type or brand of horse stall mat you recommend? Never seen these things before so I’m not familiar with how much variation there is.
Thanks. I actually don't know what brand of mat this is. I just went to my local place that I knew sold them. I know Tractor Supply has them as well. If you go on their site and look up horse matts, they have 4x6 matts to choose from which should work just the same
