Season 3 during the Clash of the Worthless Gods arc, specifically episode 83. It's not really explicit at first, but by episode 102, they have become at least mutually accepting their hate toward one another. Seemed likely to be an OTP tbh.
I owe these guys so much honestly. When I started playing yugioh, I was too broke to afford anything worthwhile and was mocked for it. People gave me so much shit for using these guys because they were not meta. I slowly built a deck from scratch; pulling some cards and made my first meta deck from the scraps of people: Batteryman Artifacts. I loved the deck and built it with my heart. The little guys who had come from nothing helped me win my locals against the tellas, burning abyss and shadolls. My torn call of the haunteds, my worn batteryman Fuel cells, and bent artifact cards I bought because I couldn't afford nicer ones came together into a truly strong force. Still have the deck on my desk. Even with the artifact engine spiking a bit in price, I refuse to give them up.
lvl5Vaporeon my first card was an obilisk the tormentor...needless to say I built a pendulum deck around it and when I got the other 2 God cards they still beat ass
jolly jojo Didn't matter. I was able to see my little batteries shine for a format. Seeing their faces after scythe locked the extra deck, card popping from moraltech and an occasional wipe with short circuit was worth it.

The new support for Battery Men will probably read "If you control 3 Battery Men monsters with different names, Banish all cards in your opponent's hand, deck, field, graveyard, and extra deck, Inflict 100000 damage to your opponent, also, you win the duel. You can only activate this card once per turn." Something ridiculous like that.
Floodgate Trap Hole. The ideal T1 field involves opening Brilliant Fusion + 9-Volt, BriFu send Trick Clown and summon it back, NS 9-Volt and search Charger, tribute 9-Volt for Charger, summon another 9-Volt, overlay into Durendal and Rafflesia, hopefully set a D-Barrier/Strike. Instant Fusion can get Norden for more R4, or Theseus for Tzolkin with Seraphinite or Charger.
Oh my bad. Mischief of the Gnomes. Makes all monsters levels in hand because -1 for the turn, same effect by banishing from grave. You use it to make Charger a L4 to summon without Tribute, and to disrupt your opponent's monster's levels. It also turns Fuel Cell in hand into a L5, so you can actually make Pleiades.
I can't be the only one here that hasn't played Yugioh in years, but still watches these videos because they're interesting and funny? Yeah, probably the only one.
Funny enough. I was never into the card game (but I do like the anime), but Rank10s videos got me so interested that along with one of my friends constant nagging, got me into the game. And guess what is my first deck? Rank 10 fuckin trains.
Why not do an Archetype Archive on Superheavy Samurai's? They're an interesting archetype given that they can attack in defense position, also, it would be nice to review an Arc-V archetype because YOU STILL TAKE THE DAMAGE.

I still remember what a joke Batteryman was back when I played Yugioh. Now that I'm back into it, it's honestly wholesome to find out they came together.
Though who it REALLY killed was Crystal Beasts. Sorry guys, your two support cards that you never got to use in the TCG now completely destroy your ability to do anything. You're welcome. Also it probably killed the hell out of Igknights and Dracos. Especially Igknights. Can't constantly be sac'ing 3+ of your monsters if getting them back is suddenly like pulling teeth.
I love going back and watching these videos and hearing how so many of these old archetypes use brilliant fusion to work, only for it to be 2020 with the most used fusion spell ever getting slapped with forbidden because yugihos balance is about as good as a druck man on a tight road.
fucking RU-vid was a whole 8 MINUTES late notifying me about this. Those 8 minutes could have been spent watching rata talk about batteries instead of being productive

Batteryman Fuel Cell is a Hydro Electric power converter. By running an electric current through water you can separate it into Hydrogen and Oxygen. I did something similar to that for a science project back in highschool

How about covering Dragunity next? Never a top tier deck, but quite a lot of plays availible for its time, with a somewhat original gimmick (back then). Moreover, a good example for how a field spell can make an archetype work (which is also an example of a support card being too broad, getting itself limited due to other decks and making the mother archetype unplayable).
Love these guys. One of the my favorites. If Yu-Gi-Oh! locals were a thing where I lived, I would march in there with batterymen in my hand and be proud of it. I'd even have the chorus for AC/DC's "High Voltage" on standby for anytime I played Short Circuit.

I would very much like to know who is the genius that tried to say that 3 Batteryman C on the field meant +4500 boost to his machine monsters, what is their reasoning and on what drugs they're on.
I honestly always found this video particularly... _quaint?_ Like - even around the time of this video's release, many of the mentioned upsides in ATK or during the Battle Phase just didn't really _matter_ anymore in the face of all the Special Summon and negation spam... but I guess it speaks to a sort of "innocent" enthusiasm for this kind of deck, which I totally get. Makes this video quite charming in a sort of odd way.

Batteryman is my all-time favorite archetype and I've ran it for years (I have this cycle where every few years ill get back into the game, get completely obliterated by the meta, and then proceed to try my best to augment/update the deck to the best of my ability so that it can manage to hold its own...... and then I inevitably drop it after a couple of months due to not having anybody to play with/getting too salty about the meta and how much i suck at children's card games) I actually just so happen to have picked up the game again earlier this week for the first time in like 5 years, only to find that i was getting my ass handed to me. Batteryman is not a super popular archetype, and most of the "batteryman" decks i see people run these days have deviated so far from batterymen that it's barely recognizable. It used to be such that my deck could hold its own against my friend's fucking broken-ass hero gate deck (you know, when THAT was big), but with my outdated staples and lack of an extra deck, I'm pretty fucked nowadays. Luckily this video was able to steer me in the right direction and showed me the glory of 9-Volt (already ordered 3). Anyway, this video was helpful, entertaining, and it was a little bit of representation for a really obscure archetype that I love, but never see anything on, so it really means a lot. .....but I'm still not taking out my AA's and inferno reckless summons fuck you
