Hi Kleo, thanks for the detailed explanation. I'll like to ask when using the default fans for the arctic freezer ii 360 as shown in the demostration, what is the highest possible thermal limit you are comfortable with and the observed temps. Currently i'm using 13700K with AK620 + 2 x Noctua A12X25 fans (default fans resonate and rattle my brains out), and the best thermal configuration i can do comfortably at average 75 deg is only at 175w thermal limit with undervolting of 1.32v + offset 0.050v. If the arctic ii freezer 360 with stock fans could push to 220w at aver temps of 75 deg, I will be very tempted to switch over to maximise what my cpu could do. The P12 Max noise may be too much for me to take with my desktop just 20 cm away from me below my table. Another question, can arctic ii freezer 360 fit comfortably on the top of the Lancool 216 with my motherboard at aircool position. Just wanted to be sure after looking at your previous video on Lancool 216. Many Thanks

Hi Jenome, welcome to my channel. To answer your question, I am from a tropical country and my average room temperature is between 29 to 31 degress celcius. Personally am using an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 (P12 ARGB fans) on my 13700K + ASRock Sonic PG motherboard. I have limited the PL 1 and PL 2 to 208Watts and with offset vcore at -100mv. At load with either content creation or 3D rendering will be at 78 degress max. If by default, I am getting at 85 degress celcius max. If I am using Air Cooler, Thermalright PA 120 black. the max temp with PL and offset will be at 88 degrees and using default, I will hit 93 degrees.

@@KleoYan Dear Kleo, thank you very much for the swift reply.. Appreciate it. If I'm running PL1/PL2 at 200w my temp will average 85 deg and max at 88-90 deg which I'm not too comfortable with. Thus I'm looking at aio cooling if its performance improvement is worth the plunge.
@KleoYan
@KleoYan Год назад
@@Jenome Hi, there are three factors which might improve your situation. Maybe give these a try. 1st I am not sure which motherboard you are using, besides setting the PL1 and PL2, you can do Vcore offset. 2nd you might want to try using this method of applying thermal paste ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xZ2R4roF1_Q.html , Please note, I am not advertising on MX6 but that's how I apply thermal paste, be it AMD or Intel. Reason is, I dont waste paste and bonus part is, the contact between your Processor IHS to the cold plate (Aircooling or Liquid Cooling) will be in full contact. 3rd, have you use a contact frame. I use this which drops 5 degrees off instantly www.amazon.com/Nab-Cooling-Contact-Generation-Anti-Bending-Buckle-Black/dp/B0C33N7TBN/ref=sr_1_3?crid=BGYI48G3DX92&keywords=nab+contact+frame&qid=1690879207&sprefix=nab+contact+fram%2Caps%2C291&sr=8-3 if those aid you with your current aircooling and if you are comfortable with it, then you don't have to waste extra cash to buy a Liquid AIO.

@@KleoYan Dear Kleo, thank you for providing the suggestions. I'm currently using Z790 Aorus Elite AX DDR5 and using the same thermal compound of Arctic MX6. And yes i did purchase contact frame(thermalright one though), but after test i feel that the result seems to be mixed, and at best 2 deg improvement to the temps at 175W and 2 deg worse at 200W thermal limits. Meanwhile to correct the info i've provided after checking back to my records, at 175W my Core Max is 84 deg (77~84), Core Max Average is 75 deg (69~75). At 200W my Core Max is 86 deg (78~86), Core Max Average is 81 deg (74~81). These test are all derived from 10mins of cinebench R23, so if 30mins could go up 2-3 deg. As a first time pc builder, I am having fun fiddIing with my build, though most of the time I'm not acutally sure how to know if the temps/performance of my cpu are better/worse than similar setups. Please continue to produce good informative videos. I will be following~
@KleoYan
@KleoYan Год назад
@@Jenome hi, I wish you all the very best buddy and thanks for following. btw for the contact frame, I do have some issues at at start. the trick to it is torque to the correct line base. what I did is to do a marker mark. and slowly screw them down by a quarter turn diagonally. My temp goes down by 5 degrees and I stop fiddling with the contact frame.

Hi Preacher, welcome to my channel. P12, P14 or P28, they are all good. but if you want me to choose among these three, I will try to go for P14 Max as bigger diameter of a fan, it draws more air with lower RPM, which will lower down the noise. P12 Max and P28 will be louder. The choice is yours...

@@KleoYan thank you! Does it really metter p14 max or p14 max argb?
@KleoYan
@KleoYan 24 дня назад
@@preacher2826 hi and kindly allow me to share my experience with you. P14 Max does draw more air in and out as compared to P14 argb but if you can tune it so that the amount of air is equals to the amount of air out, your system will run cool. Main key is not brutal force, is more on balance. Example, I myself not using any of these fans. Instead I choose to use Montech AX120, RX120, AX140 and RX140 .. this is my build www.reddit.com/r/MontechPC/comments/19esupr/project_montech_king95_pro_sonic_the_hedgehog/ and these are my temp i.imgur.com/y0L5z9q.png , kindly note that this was taken while my room temperature is at 30°C ~ 31°C . I just fine tune my fans which these are thses specs. AX120 or RX120 - 800~1600RPM (±10%) AX140 or RX140 - 600~1600RPM (±10%) You see, I do not require to ram up the RPM to have airflow. it's more on how you plan the air to channel in your case and to channel out of the case. in my build I delibrately place a 280 Liquid AIO at the side with push pull configuration with the AX 140 and RX140, this will channel air in but it's warm, additionally this case has a curve point where the warm air is able to sweep smoothly into the case. The GPU which is vertically mounted, will get direct cooling from the bottom fans which are RX120. with the warm air intake at the side and the warm air at the bottom to the top. these circulation will sweep the heat off my other components, the ram area, m.2 area and VRM heatsink area. These will generate more warm air but I have the top which is not block by liquid AIO (open area) the AX120 fans pushes all these warm air out. This will reduce heat accumulation inside the case. For the rear, yes, does help but very minimal, I have tested with and without the rear fan, the thermal results are of no difference, but just to fill up the emptiness. Overall air flow is not able how strong your fan is and such. It comes to a point on how you control the airflow channeling in and out of your case.

@@Snoewyzxc this is my opinion 1) on Intel 13th Gen or 14th Gen processor, the mystique 360 does perform very well by default. need not to change to P12 Max 2) on AMD 7000 or 9000 series, the mystique 360 does better using the P12 Max but it's only by a 2 degree difference. to me it's not worth replacing due to the noise factor. Overall if you have not gotten the mystique 360, I would suggest you to get the Thermalright Forzen Warframe 360. www.thermalright.com/product/frozen-warframe-360-black/ this perform better compared to the mystique 360. You don't even need to change the fans to P12Max and best part is.. if your liquid cooler malfunction, at least you get to reuse the LCD screen as it's detachable.

Hi just stumbled upon your video, anyway few days ago I purchase the Arctic P12 Max buat I got the Revision 2 fan which comes with Fluid Dynamic Bearing instead of Dual Ball Bearing. In your video you mentioned that Dual Ball Bearing is much better than FDB because it have longer lifespan. I wonder why is Arctic doing this, downgrading their fan quality. I also couldn't find about the Revision 2 anywhere, when I scan the QR code on their packaging, the link take me to a dead website. I do found however that Arctic P12 Max White version is using Fluid Dynamic Bearing. Would you be able to get a hand on those and do a review about it? Just want to know from your perspective who's already familiar with the Dual Ball Bearing version. Thanks.

Hello 白超级, weclome to my channel. If these fans are not expensive at your region, you can give it a try. but I would say the temperature difference is only by 1 to 2 degrees. As the surface area of the TR peerless assassin has it's surface area limit.

Max looks like an upgraded version of CO with the same dual bearing, but a lot more RPM, perfect product for extreme stress run or workstation server. I own some of their PST fans & I have to agree Arctic is probably the best brand for budget fans. But maybe not their screw as my screwdriver could easily tear its head, what do you think about Arctic's screw quality, Kleo?
@KleoYan
@KleoYan Год назад
Hi Huy Vu, welcome back and yes they have port over the ball bearing which are found on P12 PWN PST CO fans but the structure of this P12 MAX are much more better in construction. nevertheless thank you for your valuable feed back. As for the screws, I do agree with you and they are rather small. I always use my own set of fan screws or to use those rubber studs.

Hi Major, I built a filter for my 3D printer with HEPA Filter + Active Carbon Filter + 12mm Fan (pulls air). Fan specs says its nearly 4mm H2O static pressure which is not enough to pass air from HEPA (only a little breeze). So when I run fan, it can't suck air from filter, instead fan sucks air from center of exhaust side and blows it from blade's tips. I have a few questions if you can help. Which can give more static pressure, pulling or pushing air from fan? (I can reorder as fan (blows) + HEPA + Active Carbon if blow is better). Is there a way to prevent exhaust turbulence to increase static pressure? Any idea to increase static pressure? (low budget)
