Are Coilovers On A Mercedes A Good Option???? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Reality check………These cars now cost $3000-19k. The cost of abc repairs due to age, lack of maintenance or design….can quickly outweigh the value of the car. Everyone doesn’t own their car to keep it original. They prefer to keep it on the road. And enjoy driving it. So whatever your circumstances are, whatever choice you make…I love that you choose to drive a Mercedes SL. Anyone discrediting abc lovers or the coilover lovers have serious inner issues, are self-conscious and over zealous to minimize another person’s decision. It doesn’t make you smarter, richer or better than anyone else. Coilovers are very practical and reasonable for many. Some choose to maintain ABC for their own personal reasons. No choice is always right. Nor is it always wrong. Relax…..respectfully. And appreciate that you own a piece of Mercedes history. Your love is mutually shared by many others. So do whatever you need to do to enjoy your SL comfortably and as often as possible. Keep it on the road and out of the shop! I’m here to help either way.

After watching your vids I decided to do it. I'm in Sarasota FL, so I drove down to Silvers. I was there at 8am and by 6pm that day I was driving my Sl with coilovers! All because of you and your awesome videos. And I did it in my driveway no lift. You literally saved me hours of time and aggravation. No longer do I worry about that damn red dash! I actually get to enjoy this car without the stress of the next ABC failure. I am truly grateful for everything you have done my friend. The ride is great and fully adjustable......It actually took me longer to install a new android head unit than it did to do coilovers! I'm not joking. Freaking adapters, fiber optics and hundred wires lol. Thanks again for everything you shared!!!!

I use to have a 2004 cl55 amg. Love how it was super comfortable but after some time, it did something that was so weird that everyone I spoke to even the dealership couldn't understand and or fix. So I went with aftermarket air suspension. The ride was more firm. It handle better but it wasn't as comfortable as abc. Had I had the funds, I would've kept the abc. The weird problem I had was. While driving, the car would drop on one corner and raise back up. Sometimes it would drop so low to the point that the tire would rub on the inner wheel liner. And the craziest thing was. Sometimes when I shut the engine off and get outside and lock the car. The car would do it on its own. Rear right drops. Then raise up. Then front driver side drops. I felt unsafe so I took out the whole abc. I could imagine exiting or getting on a on ramp and that happens. To me it was a accident waiting to happen. Looked good aired out but just wasn't satisfied overall. So my advice is. If you have the money. Keep your abc.

This is the best information that I will take from this entire channel….. “keep the ABC system”…. If I can’t afford it, it makes no sense to own the vehicle….

When you install those when removing the existing is there a ground wire somewhere because my dash my lights and my radiator fan are all switching off and on .

The abc system and what is removed has nothing to do with any other system. Unless you’ve loosened or accidentally altered the alternator and its connections somehow while removing the abc pump or belt. Make sure you removed the proper abc fuse. Make sure your alternator is putting out the right voltage. Check all wires around your work area.

All your videos talk about doing cool overs…I never see you do the work?!? Last video I watched was a “coil over conversion” but you talked about the car and the battery. So many videos where you don’t show installation? You wanna make more money, show the work. That’s what we want. Watching drive around and talk is kinda pointless to me

Look at my earlier videos. They show specific details.
