Much love Tiia! 🧡 I'm just glad cryos are coming soon as I need to store my dinos. I've held off using cryo mods. But I still think WC will iterate on the changes once they are out, so i'm not too concerned about the other mechanics until later.
They care more about there toxic 40% player base then the chill 60% of their playerbase. Always been this way always will be this way. We will always have to endure as PVE players the changes done to PVP. Sadly PVP players ruin our game at an effort of balancing theres.
PvE is complete trash anyway. Can't pick anything up with fliers. Can't kill tames even unclaimed ones. This game is an interesting concept with a trash execution and the developer doesn't care.
I'm only bummed about the platform change. Was looking forward to the Quetz to being more useful but I guess it can stay irrelevant. Plus not having them on boats and goofy Titanosaur bases is kinda lame. I get it, this is for PvP but I don't know, they could've done better
Doesn't change anything for pvp... you wouldn't honestly pit any of this on a tame and more likely in a rat hole... so yea they just only nerfd PvE honestly.
Can Wildcard make Tek Binoculars show structure decay timers? I find it really stupid how I have to still carry around a primitive spyglass just to see such a basic piece of info when tek binoculars tell you every other info including what the dino had for breakfast.
This is off topic but do you know if they'll fix the issue or is there talk about fixing dropped items meshing into structures? For example I farmed metal and dropped it from the anki's inventory and it ended up inside the industrial forge so I had to pick up the forge to not lose all the metal.
After trying these changes in my "PvP" mode single player world, it pushed my decision to use modded dino storage. I really wish wildcard would take a note from modders and allow more ini edits for cryopods on unofficial and single player modes
It will take some getting used to if it stays like this. As long as we can pod things anywhere, it shouldn't be too bad. Will still be useful for bringing your newly tamed dinos home.
They need to fix the structure limit or give ceilings that're 4 in one and even extra large 8 in one. While at it add extra large walls being 8 high. Behemoth size. Then maybe give us back fence foundations placeable on foundation and ceilings. Fix it!
Going to walk baby dino in every cave. Will have fridges at every tp. Good luck...thought the 20th was the day to release them? Cryos just help me breed dinos. Very nice to be able to raise dinos on my time. Also my server has been tame capped since Thanksgiving. Cryopods will help hopefully.
I think it's healthy for the game and like the idea of the changes but also as someone who plays on a private server with friends I'm going to continue to rock my Cryo mod as well so I can have my cake and eat it, too. I don't trust the storage of the mods but, if they create official ones I can store my dinos with official cryos and hope it all works out.
This is a bit of an ignorant comment. If you're playing a game with mods, you really shouldn't say something is good for the game if it doesn't make you want to play vanilla.
They are really screwing over the pve players on official where platforms are capped and obelisks being completely block off. That leaves some players with no way to boss fight.

sad about the cryos. but as it was initally intended, they were mainly for reducing server stress. nothing more. we still need to use specific cave dinos, etc. no cheesing past the choke point with dinos not intended for that area. this way we can see all dinos shine in their certain area u know. i think its very diff from ase, no more pocket gigas. makes sense tbh. its a rough change, but im fine with it. keeps the game more immersive. nice vid
I don’t think you play on official servers. Obelisks are blocked, platforms are maxed so there’s no way to boss fight unless you use the shotgun cheese method. The changes to cryopods are horrific for pve official.
its funny the player base cares about Ark. Wildcard, devs, customer service, Mods, and snail games dont care at all. They just want money and have proven they will lie lie lie and not provide any support to just keep consuming money. I have almost no hope for the longevity of Ark Sadly.
Definitely frustrating learning a new cryo system when used to the old one. I lost a few Dino’s on my single player game. I can’t leave a Dino inside or outside of cave due to the terrain rendering issues. If flyer is stuck in the mesh it’s an easy fix but if I leave a tame inside cave it falls thru map. Any form of cryo is welcomed 😁
They should have put a timer on players outside of cryo fridge range.... 5 mins to pod/un pod 1 tame and resets on pod/un pod. Also they should have set it to where only 1 fridge in each tribe can be designated as an infinite unpod fridge and cannot be changed for 24 hrs to eliminate rat hole spams. All pvp roblems solved w.o nerfing PvE.
one of the things I did not like about ASE was how easy it was at the end. the struggle was gone. These changes are more than welcome, and make ASA feel likes its own game not just a cheap remake. I know for private server we will see mods that change them back the way there were, I am also happy for that so people on their own servers or single player can play the way they want. I also hope that for private servers, this is a server side setting , I could see this being an INI setting to just change, unpod in wild and range.
Found a new glitch by accident at first i was confused then tried it again and duped auto turrets and dup fertilzer lol Dupe cryopos while dino inside mutated a rynio and cryo then dupe that pod like 2o times 😂😂 it only works to get autos not heavies sadly another one is taming dinos without trap its tricky because if you mess up that dino will wreck you lol you have to get in their face for it to work easy way to tame gigas rexs brontos etc only works on large dinos glitching the hit box 😂😂 Ill go on test servers and report them
One more change Pods with Dino's in, should weight a large amount of that Dino's drag weight, It'd remove Dino's for transportation if a giga in a pod weighed half the drag weight of 950 so 425 in your inventory
