Eggs are good for you. No wait, eggs are bad for you! Well actually, eggs are good for you. Wait Wait!?? Are you as tired of this as I am? Eggs have been around for the entire existance of mankind on this planet, and we have eaten as many of them as we could get our hands on. But now, a new study in JAMA tries to raise new worries about eating eggs.
Eggs are almost a complete, super-food for humans. People have lived on eggs alone for years and been healthy the entire time. How then can we understand a new study trying to tell us that eggs might increase the risk of us dying? In this video I will deal with the question, Is Eating Eggs Bad for Your Heart? You might be surprised at my final point at the end of this video.
It is very important that we eat the foods that are good for us and avoid the food-like products that are bad for us. Are you ready? Let's dig in...

I have to weigh in here, I’ve been Keto for 9 months, down almost 50 pounds, fatty liver fully reversed, A1C 5.5, cardio up to 70 minutes a day 3 times a week, inflammation gone, love Keto and when I do my egg fast I eat 10 eggs a day for 3 days in a row and no heart attack! Dr.Berry keep up the excellent work, spread the news, big pharma is scared, Keto rocks!

I'm just curious. How many eggs do you consume per day? I'm in my 60s and I'm told that eating four eggs per day is bad for your liver. Evidently, the cholesterol in the yolk promotes fatty liver disease and non alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver....when eating four eggs per day.

There's only one kind of blood pressure and that's good and proper for the individuals circumstances, your blood pressure dosen't need to be punished it didn't do anything wrong and it's not supposedly high from drug deficiency. Find out what the physical chemical and emotional stressors are creating the environment in which elevated blood pressure are nessesary in the first place fix them and your very "Intelligent" body will lower it itself.

I’ve had various cholesterol readings over the years. Started monitoring it at 19 years old because of family history. My cholesterol has been as low as 179, as high as 275. The eggs never played a part in my cholesterol levels (if that even matters), but my fiber content made all the difference. When I eat a diet with tons of veggies, my cholesterol is fantastic, when I eat a bunch of processed carbs, devoid of fiber, my cholesterol shoots up. Just what I’ve noticed in monitoring my cholesterol for nearly 10 years now.

What is very frustrating is that there are so many articles that claim that the Ketogenic Lifestyle is dangerous with no evidence or proof. I just read one that claimed that it was actually fat that is responsible for increased insulin but no evidence beyond making him "feel" bad after a few days on Keto. I ate 8 eggs/day during my high-intensity exercise phase. At the same time, I was having monthly blood tests for a medication I was taking. And I continued the blood tests for the next 1.5 years, after going back to 0-2 eggs/day. My cholesterol was within normal range on every blood test. So were my liver enzymes, and so were the basic values RBC WBC hemoglobin etc. Eggs are not the problem. What is your lifestyle? Are you frying the eggs, and in which oil? What else are you consuming? These are the same questions that make any studies on food consumption in human cohorts correlational at best. We cannot infer a causal relationship based on these studies.

Thank you for having a common sense approach to eating right. You are down to earth and I appreciate that you are still learning and knowing that makes me have trust in what you say. I have been overweight the majority of my life and have tried every diet only to gain the weight back. I’m down from 250 at my highest to now 191 ish. Keto is the only “ diet” that does not leave me starving all the time. I can’t believe how full I feel. It’s so crazy! I use the carb manager app on my phone to help me keep better track of what I eat each day and it’s easier than food logging on paper. Thank you for your extremely useful info.

I am on keto and living in Myanmar. Palm oil is not bad for you - look up videos on it. I prefer palm oil to other oils such as peanut oil for cooking due to more heat stable fats in palm oil. I eat 4 eggs a day (sometimes more), and have gradually lost weight over time. My cholestrol is in the normal range.

I have a vegan friend and she blogs and posts videos from Doctors that trash low carb and carnivore diets and have all this research they study to back it up. Not even possible to beat that bad info out of them and they probably think the same about us. In the end, having tried a low fat diet, a vegan once for about a year and a carbivore (ate way too much carbage) for a good chunk of my life before I found keto and IF it is safe to say my experience should be a good barometer of how these different ways of eating affect my body. I feel a 1000 times better eating keto compared to the others and found it the easiest least expensive way to eat. As a nurse I've seen my fair share of very sick vegetarians, vegans, and followers of the SAD, ADA, and AHA diets. Only one had a patient that was low carb and she fasted most of her stay because they were trying to shove the SAD diet on her. We have to keep fighting because this battle is just getting started!
