The efficiency of emerald dolls varies much more drastically by how much you purchase at once than the "regular" emerald sales, and also some servers get better deals than others. For example, my regular emeralds are the same price as yours (I have vip15 on server 237 on web and my $180 package is also 57420 base emeralds before sales kick in), but my largest emerald doll package is 650 emerald dolls for $225 (instead of 250 like yours). Just by raw quantity of dolls, that means I'm getting 2.88888 dolls per dollar, whereas you just bought 1.5 dolls per dollar (30 dolls for $20). So yeah needless to say I made out like a bandit by full sending today, when the emerald doll sale overlapped with the extra level 3 dolls that the Weaving Patterns event offered for vip points. For $225 I got a total of 392k emeralds (including the weaving patterns bonus) which actually beats a 5x emerald sale.

If you get it for $225 it is a good deal, but during a x5 emerald sale I get 398750 emeralds for $250 at VIP15 on server 39. I would argue that's about even with the largest purchase (650 dolls). With that data I will wait for the x5 emerald sale.

@@michaelsodomora5439 I mean, the reason it was better than a 5x sale this time is specifically because it overlapped with the VIP point bonus from weaving patterns. 392k for 225 is 1742 emeralds per dollar, compared to 1592 emeralds per dollar from a 5x emerald sale. And that's not even including the emeralds that my guild got as a result of my purchase (an extra 145 emerald dolls across everyone). If you have a reliable whale guild then it would've been best for every single player to buy the max emerald doll package once.

the problem is that 1 try is no serious data base. I got only 280k out of 650 dolls including the extra dolls of the event so its seems you were very lucky on your try. my outcome was even worse then a 4x sale since i get 290k for the same price as the dolls + around 30 exp potions for emerald waterfall coming with it always +maybe another event that benefits of purchasing emeralds and vip points. For example i only got 11 lvl 5 dolls and zero lvl 6 dolls out of 650 lvl 1 and 63 lvl 3 dolls(of the event). However thats only the perspective for vip 15 and dont forget that 5x sales are limited. So for low Vip level players that dont get much bonus emeralds when buying emeralds, the dolls are definetly a good deal and also the dolls for the guild are not included in those calculations.

Because the number of emeralds you get per dollar is higher if you buy the $190 pack, he wants to make a comparison using the best emerald ratio available in the shop

math is for you only. collect data on how many emeralds for your guild with 1 doll for each memeber.

Charly, your comparison is not quite correct. You did not take into account the up to 29 dolls, that your guildmates get.

well this would only matter if everyone of his guild buys dolls as well so he gets those 29 dolls back, which wont happpen...

@@ElNinjo1982 This is not a solo player game, but a team game. So you have to sum up, what the overall gain is from your buy, even if it is not all for yourself.
