What great analogy comparing racism to how we viewed "worldly people". I'm sorry to say that it took a few years to cease treating non-JWs as somewhat "less than". My behaviour was brought to my attention by a new "worldly" friend much to my shame.

What a great video Justin! Especially love the Tesla analogy!!!!! It’s so blatant to us that are on the outside to see how this Org deceives their members. I give you a lot of credit escaping this cult knowing how much you would loose. My husbands family are devout JWS. They’ve been in since late 70’s. I met my husband 37 yrs ago. He was never baptized. He always believed it though. He was a heavy smoker and drinker. We married in ‘92. This last year he has started studying. I blame troubles in our marriage that caused us to separate. His drinking was huge factor along with his controlling behaviors. It also didn’t help that we were helping his sister and brother-in-law out by having them live with us from March 2020 to December 2021. I will never forgive myself for that. I think having them here, even though they DID NOT INTRUDE on our marriage and DID NOT PUSH their beliefs on us, just made it easier to sway him. We have decided to remain married but now since he’s studying I’m dealing with something I never thought I would ever have to face. My husband quit smoking a few years ago and had since “controlled“ his drinking, but this JW thing is just not what I signed up for. I even told him I wished he would go back to smoking rather than studying JW! He couldn’t believe I said that. I know it was harsh but it was the truth. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior so I’m not interested at all in JW. Since he won’t watch any videos against this cult can you provide me with any wisdom? Thank you for what you are doing.

Your comment about the Prejudice towards people that are not Witnesses "worldly people" really resonated, it also reminds me of that comment that Anthony Morris made in one of the early updates last year, talking about covid, where he made the comment "why are you discouraged about this we're looking forward to this" now there is the attempt to "care" at least towards the 25k+ witnesses that have died. It all seems VERY self centered

In mid 2020 When the Rona hysteria was in full swing. I was watching some midweek and weekend meetings. While doing this I couldn't help but notice that quite a few elders and lower ranking JWs were positively giddy at the thought that Armageddon was here. I was thinking this is a very strange way to be Funny enough. Majority of them lines up to get the poison jab I thought gods people had a shield of protection!!!!

They are the best of cults because as most x witness know 99.9 percent of them don’t even realise their in a cult. It would be brilliant if it wasn’t so tragic. I left over 30 years ago I consider myself very lucky to have escaped pretty much unscathed. I do have my regrets, but on the whole my experience was nowhere near as bad has others.

It's seems amazing to me that Borg-Org has never contemplated that police involvement in these CSA cases may well provide the missing second witness to the crime, namely the common semen sample. 🤔
