Not men are not jealous of each other but if their partners start comparing them with other guys then surely that will hurt and create a bad self image of us and lot of insecurity

Thumbsup tell your “ friends “ that just because you feel secure and proud of your wife doesn’t mean you will let any body treat you like a door mat . If they feel he is soooo important for the group they can have him . It’s a free country but please do not let this person in your life. If he talks to you like this publicly just imagine what he must call you behind your back ? These “ friends “ most probably just want the drama to go on so they have something to laugh at behind screen. Otherwise what you did is most sensible way of handling things. Cola: miss i m one of those idiots who used to use internet to cope up with my depression. It only made it worse. Internet nowadays is specially really very toxic place. If she wants a gadget get her a laptop or tablet where she can learn things like editing, photoshop , sketching . If not please make sure she is not on reddit or sites like these which claim to be a positive n supporting community but tear your existence down the moment you post something they don’t agree with.

Wow, I can relate to both the letters today. Regarding Thumsup's letter I am not a dad or a husband but then I was in a WhatsApp group with a circle of toxic friends. There was this one person (someone else had added him, I never met him in person) kept on commenting on how my nose is too big or my eyebrows are too bushy and what not. Kept emphasizing on how ugly I look. After a point I removed him from the group, after which surprisingly some members blamed me for overreacting and claimed that "he was just trying to mess with me". I cut off ties with all such "friends" that day. And trust me I felt so relieved. Regarding Coke I have been in a similar situation. After a certain trauma I kept on endlessly binge watching web series and RU-vid videos to keep myself distracted. It was a very long process and there is nothing else I could resort to except just let things happen naturally and get over the trauma. It has been 3 ⅔ years now and I am at a better place.

Dear thumbs up. Ask your friend first in which century he is living in? Nowadays, we want equality but still taunt others for their choices..secondly ask him if he's jealous of the fact that he is not able to sit back & relax as he married a woman who isn't capable to provide him bread or he's jealous of the fact that your wife is more talented than his?we have successful women in India like Mary Kom who's husband is a wonderful compassionate..Tell your friends that you like being a house husband it's your choice..no one has the right to judge or taunt based on that. if someone do such things you have the right to remove such toxic people from your life..let me tell you you are a wonderful human being..don't let anyone cross the line

Prachi, your advise on kids being monitored was spot on. As parent's you need to let your child to do things with their friends. Make sure you have them invite their friends over for parties, that way you can spot the good ones from the flaky ones. If possible, get to know their parents. And do not send them to sleepovers unless you know their parents very well. I raised my daughters in the US. And even here many parents do monitor their kids and have tracking Apps on it to keep them safe from predators. There has to be a balance. I call it "let them fall off the bicycle" while learning under your watchful eye. One they turned 18 and went to college, if you raised them to be confident kids they will make right choices.

Also, Coke, could you and your daughter go for therapy together, mother-daughter therapy, like couples therapy? You must have gone through shit after knowing your husband's betrayal. You also must have a lot of hurt feelings, unresolved anger and insecurity. And therapy is a must for your daughter. If she is not well-adjusted, she may miss out on a career and marriage...and seriously, who will take care of her? A phone can be an escape from life, not life itself.

A suggestion from my side- You can actually try to set up a discord(another social media platform) server where people can actually share their stories and have a conversion with everyone or one to one inside the community. Even the people can connect with you, like you can hold events where limited people can actually talk to you( unlike youtube where there is a large number of audience). Do think about this suggestion dii. I love the thing your doing by not just hearing out people but also advicing them.

Yes didi, I too face the same like the 18 year old girl, I'm 19. And really phone distracts from stress,even my therapist said phone diverts. Else panic attacks really reoccur.😭 But even you are right speaking about the indulgence thing. Activities and indulgence really help to cure. Im getting lots of benefit.

Heya Di I'm a 16 year old teenager I have so many problems almost daily to deal with my parents, the thing is, from the very start when I was 5 year old due to my habit and being unaware of wrong right, etc, I have always talked badly and beaten my mom in the public as most children do, I accept it's not good, I left doing it after I tuned 11 or 12, but verbal conflicts have never ever stopped, mostly due to as silly reasons like what to make for lunch/dinner, I know it's my mistake I go out of the limits and talk badly to her, but it's not entirely on me, I don't know how u explain u accurately but she kinda provokes me indirectly to do so, and the main problem which made me write this letter is, my parents still judge me from my past 11 years despite of telling them again and again that I AM TRYING to change and literally this year by doing meditation regularly I'm quite peaceful inside, still talking badly with mummy when I have mood swings doesn't change and my parents would NEVER understand it, after being so peaceful inside I don't even care as today they beat me in the garden of soceity in front of everyone, that I don't care, but they also blame my friends for my character and it's totally totally totally unacceptable for me, I know my friends and their honesty loyalty and true character, how can they judge them by my habit?? 8 months back, They made me get seperated from my boyfriend, whom I knew for 10 years!! We were literally in a perfect relationship, yet they emotionally blackmailed me to choose them, and now friends, what else limits they can cross, why they think I will change magically and why they can't see me growing slowly, most importantly, I can't bear if they blame my friends and do drama at their house, then definately I'm gonna elope from this house I don't care of such selfish people who only know to emotionally blackmail and not understand me, They teach me stupid lessons like Money is everything, just bcz I say money is a need, it has no limit, I'm interested in social work and changing soceity, not in doing job to satisfy their ego, that's also a reason for them to say that I'm a totally spoiled kid that needs to be abandoned and thrown, Sorry if I talked something out of limits but one thing for sure, I'm not that bad how my parents think I'm, Help me out di thanks in advance 🥺🥺🙏🏻

Hi Di I have came across 1 case where 1 person is not able to find a bride for her so he decides to marry out of community due to many reasons like money and education and all and when he gets married he immediately have a baby in first year of marriage and than his wife was found to have an affair with outside person so then they both first decide to tell everything to each other and not to have affair any more but than the husband founds out his wife's affair 2 to 3 times and then both decide to split up and than they get divorce and as per the country's law the child is with the mother and then the husband has become drunkard and nobody is having a money (mother or father both) to raise a child so now the mother is also saying to take his child but the father and her family is also does not want to accept the child now what should be done as due to the divorce and all and a child is around 1 to 1.5 years old and it is not the child's fault that he should be treated so badly like this son now what should be done. Now di According to me the ans to this is that the child should be sent to orphanage and the both mother and father should pay money for his education and never tell the child that they are their parents and in the mean time if some family adopts the child than it would be good for the child too and its future will be settled di This is the answer according to me pls say what do you think in this matter. pls answer di.....

Hi Prachi di! I had my breakup yesterday and I am in a mental breakout. I can't figure out what to do. Me and my boyfriend love each other too much. But being from a different caste ,I know that my parents would never ever agree to this so I made decision that I should continue this as It would really hurt us after 2-3 years when it would be time to get married. I am so lost and thinking that Did I do correct or not? Also , being a single child My parents have sacrificed ALOT for me and I don't want them to get unhappy because of me. But What to do when your parents are not letting you be financially independent. I am an adult but still they are just not letting me do any parttime job. I have tried every way to convince them but they are just not letting me. I am going crazy. The reason if students start earning they will stop studying and if I start earning I will probably get out of their hand. I am just so frustrated. They don't let me go out and don't let me have any fun. I thought if I'd earn I would have a little more control of my life but they will not allow that also. I have literally begged them for a laptop but they refused. That was my last hope...😭😭😭

Dear COKE... your child is in guilt that its because SHE told u about her father's betrayal that why u guys divorced.
