Are the Palestine protests happening on public college campuses protected speech?
Encampments prevent other students from using the space, cause disruptions to campus activities and create a public safety risk. So no, they aren’t protected speech. You also don’t have a First Amendment right to protest wherever, whenever, or as loud as you want.
