In today’s video I’ll be shining the light on another trucking job opportunity for Class A drivers. Let me know what you guy’s think about QCD. #trucking #truckdriver #cdl
Love your video, Anthony! I work at QCD and have a few answers for you. Some locations are component, others are hourly. We are launching the use of e-jacks soon, it's an important initiative of ours. It's been the best job I've ever had. Our drivers work hard, but they get paid very well for their efforts. Can't wait to check out your other videos.
Hello, im not sure if you'd be able to answer my question but how does the hiring process work? I got missed a call from someone at QCD stating they wanted to set up an interview along with an email and returned the call shortly after but to no avail. I have yet to hear back from them.
i work for them currently on the chik fila side easier job you can get everything is pallet drops 6 stops every night if you work fast enough you can do a double ride i made 700 dollars in one night from a double, Bad side about the job they try to take advantage of you when your new i was doing doubles and was only being paid for one i bought it to there attention i was told thats not being a team player explained it makes no since to do 2 routes and only get paid for one when i could have did my one and been home in 6 hours. I stop going to work and got a lawyer to talk to them they paid me all my back pay money and we been cool since lol. great company though when the supervisors isnt gatekeeping the money you worked for. i still work there by the way
Kudos to you for lawyering up and getting the money you earned. This is a great example of speaking up & not allowing a company or anyone for that matter to take advantage of you. Glad it all worked out.
@@imanthonytv right but I can’t stress it enough t there a great company, I have the 5 day schedule and after taxes I’m going home with 1500 after taxes with no doubles, and I’m only working like 35 hours a week
I did $115k my first year QCD but I was working a lot. I’m doing about 45 hours 5 nights a week now for about $90k. The jobs isn’t bad, though the management for the most part makes less than the drivers and I feel they hold contempt for us because of that. There really isn’t a team feeling in transportation. It always feels like management vs drivers.
You can definitely make money there. Depending on location though they can be very disorganized and under staffed. Making your route last well over 13 hours. It’s also union and you will get the worst bid routes when you start. Similar to mclane they have helpers too.
@@Production-jh7sq not sure about past stuff. Pass a urine test and drive test was a joke. They were paying like a dollar premium during the pandemic and they even had to pay like 50 dollar extra a day to get people to show up on time and do their route. Basically paying more to get ppl to do their job 😂
Just got hired took maybe 1 1/2 weeks from when I applied to my first day of orientation which was Wednesday September 6 and finished today Friday the 8th and they don’t do nothing but Starbucks and I actually only have only 2 months of driving experience so I encourage all to apply. Be blessed and I pray for everyone’s success.
It's not all pallet drops. I did the chick fil a side. Fries and chicken need to be put in the freezer one by one. Dry product u can pallet drop it. Made 90k 4 days a week. They short drivers in miami. Want you to work 6 days if u can. Definitely not for the weak of heart but u will get paid.
qcd miami is off sundays both accounts and its mostly pallet drops there are a few chik fil a where the freezer and cooler dose not have that hump unless you going to the mall which sucks
I believe QCD actually has 29 DC’s across the US now. However, here’s a list of 28 FYI.. Located throughout the U.S., and headquartered in Frisco, Texas, QCD has 28 facilities, strategically located to offer services in nearly every state in the country. These currently include: Albuquerque, NM Aurora, CO Canton, MA Capitol Heights, MD Charlotte, NC City of Industry, CA Dallas, TX Fontana, CA Franklin Park, IL Frisco, TX Indianapolis, IN Kansas City, KS Las Vegas, NV Miami, FL Minneapolis, MN Orlando, FL Phoenix, AZ Portland, OR Romeoville, IL Salt Lake City, UT San Antonio, TX Seattle, WA Spokane, WA St. Louis, MO (3 Locations) Suffolk, VA Waipahu, Hi
Electric pallet jacks only for the solo guys, That’s where I work at. You make 85K easily minimum BUT no life start time where i’m at is about 1:30pm and back between 3-5Am so pretty much get home and go straight to bed and wake up and go straight to work only 4 day work week
@@Kevindatruckerare you still in QCD? How is it going lately? Also do you have to work on Saturday and Sunday? I applied to the QCD in Riverside, MO. Wondering if the money will be worth it.
@@javiersantos201 😂 That’s the one i worked at. what a small world. Pay is $343 by end of first year your pay should be $366. Some long routes pay $400. It’s team driving when you start. The big big money is solo driving that pay is $600 per day starting out. It’s not horrible it’s just long days. 12-14 hours but only work 4 days a week. 3 days off.
Yo Matt!! I'm at qcd orlando too bud, what concept you run. I'm the one that gets the bags ready for yall, but soon will be transferring over to driver. Any advise, tips? Days off?
Yoooo...I appreciate this video man. I currently work for them right now right outside of Orlando, and yes I can attest to that. They really take care of the drivers and there's Hella money to be made. Typical schedule is 4 days and 3 woff, with a 5th day optional on call. Currently I'm in the office but will soon transition to a driver for them. We have 3 concepts Chick-fil-A, chipotle. And Starbucks. Now it's tough work, scan every box, and the same hassle as any other food service.
I’m currently a FedEx express Courier and upgrading next month to tractor trailer driver. Plan to do that for a few years. We get paid overtime pay after 8hours and day off. Double time pay after 12hrs and second day off. Work mornings and off each day. So if I leave FedEx and seniority progression behind I’d like it to be something with much higher potential. May consider moving.
Did they loose the Wendy’s contract in Apopka? I worked for them back in 2017 when they picked up the contract for Wendy’s. It was a decent job other than them never having enough pallet jacks for the routes
My neighbor/ homeboy for 15 yrs worked for QCD for the last 10 or so yrs. He made about 80 grand or so a year but he only worked 4 days a week, and he was fine with that. Ran nights rolling Chick Fil-a and Starbucks. He says a lot of guys were knocking down over 100k 5 days a week until they lost Chipotle. Then their parent company Golden State Foods lost MickeyD's to Martin Brower and that really put a dent in the whole company.
@@jeffmichel898 I was talking about Golden State Foods, the parent company of QCD losing McDonald's to Martin Brower. Maybe it's different in other areas. But in our area, QCD lost Chipotle. They have never serviced Wendy's in this region.
@@johnb8613 maybe that will make chik fil a restaurant’s respect the delivery process and time you have to wait hours even though they agreed to a set time
At Denver QCD 3pm start is Starbucks 10 pm is chipotle & chick fil a. I work chipotle CFA side. We use both a hand jack and an electric jack. It’s a great place to work especially for food service. Most drivers don’t work more than 40 hours and as a new driver you’re more of a helper than anything. But when you’re doubled up you can finish routes in less than 5 hours. Can’t really speak for any other QCD but this is for the one in the video.
@@joenagbe227 i have weekends off,but we run 7days a week and only “premium” bids have weekends off. So I’d expect a few 2-3 years with having days off during the week.
I got offered a job for their Southern California Starbucks DC but I didn’t end up going with them. During the interview they showed me that they use these small tall pallets that you can scoop with a hand truck. No down-stacking necessary. Never seen that shit before. Maybe I’ll hit them up now lol
I work for Mclane and only have close to 8 months experience driving. QCD ask for two years did I would be able to get hired still? How was the interview?
I work at Mclane as a temp in Kissimmee fl. I done made 130k with them this year . A lot people don’t know working at cdl staffing company you could make the most money
@@reesiemula i live in Fl been trying to get on with either Sysco or QCD for a year now and they just won’t hire me. Anything special that needs to be done to get hired? I have a clean driver record and have 2 years cdl experience
@@iJustB58 nah they prolly just don’t need nobody fr. I got hired with only 6 months off experience and depending how bad they need drivers they’ll take folks with no experience
I live in Colorado spring brings I’m hour away they pay that much cuz it cost like 2600 to 3500 for a single bed room apartment it’s real expensive around Denver
I saw that position open. Looks like you'd be running remote out of a Ryder yard. Not sure which chain you'd be delivering for, but that's some damn good pay for the job. Hope you get it 👍🏾
@@bear6001 probably won't be done until about the 2nd half of the year, so it'll be a minute. They also don't post the salary for cdl-a driving positions out of any of their other warehouses which is an automatic red flag for me, especially when they have a list of requirements and qualifications a mile long lol. We'll see what happens when the time comes.
Consistent OT..Yes, Consistent bonuses or incentive pay..Yes, depending on company. Could be daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly bonuses/incentives. We get quarterly bonuses at GFS.

Former Gordon driver now I'm working for qcd and 100 percent lift gate. Everything is preselected for you all you have to do is pick up with hand truck and drop it off. Man 4 day work week, a 5th day can take home 1700 clean, im on the star bucks side.
@I’m Anthony TV on top they pay you daily for pretrip 80 each day, you get paid 100 coming on your day off on top of the route pay, additional aswell you get 125 a week for perfect route pay. On Thanksgiving, I got double pay, and 150 additional
I’m gonna be honest man just productive criticism here but way too much sugar on the donut I can’t get through the video cause of it, all outta love, peace
