I do resistance band only strength training since I sold my dumbbells and bar. I stay very well toned, in fact I have a similar physique to the two guys who I follow the most, Discipline Dave and DJ from ACHV PEAK. The plus side of bands is they help the motivation because on a lazy day when I don't want to leave the house I throw them under a door. The days I am more motivated and the weather is nice, I wrap them around trees. You can do 10 minutes or an hour. They are the most versatile way of muscle building, and they are highly adjustable to your strength curve simply by upping the bands or changing your distance from the anchor. However, bear in mind that with anything, consistency is key (I use my bands 5 times a week), and a good diet and sleep are essential components of maintaining healthy muscle tissue.

Glad to see the trademark phrase "Where I put the technique in your physique" has made a glorious comeback! The last few videos were not quite the same without it 😄 Keep up the good work! Resistance bands absolutely rock. I do love lifting some heavy iron too, but when it comes to working certain muscle groups and really getting that volume in for hypertrophy, bands are hard to beat 💪

Another excellent video. Always makes me laugh the faces you make when doing the just throwing up the barbell snippets. Love the fact that if for some reason I can’t do my morning workout I can just pack my bands and do it at lunch time.

Hi Dave, just wanted to say thanks. I'm based in a small village in Ireland and unfortunately there is no gym around me. I bought a set of bands and your content is really helpful. At the moment I train upper body 3 days a week and legs 3 days a week and am really enjoying it. Keep the videos coming :)

For upper body works OK, I´ve tried and it worked but I felt it has some limitations. For legs didn´t feel so good, but people can compensate with bicycle, jogging, doing body-weight calf exercises, etc. Specially for middle-aged people the bands help though, due to less stress on joints.

Hey dave I'm loving your door free workout plan. Just curious, did you get to look so jacked mainly using bands? I was kind of demoralised at my barbell being only 30kgs to the point that I felt continuing was pointless after reaching the weight cap, but I think bands have saved me! I can even add them to the weight for dedlifts bench presses and curls!

Dave I love my bands and use them regularly. with the advantages of portability and affordability notwithstanding, the anti-band crowd says that they have very little eccentric component and causes much less muscle damage than free weight/machines= more muscle gain from free weights.
