Question Dave. How could I do bench presses with this with the bands attached along the weights? Also, a huge game changer for handles for my loop bands was...I bought 2 Geku bars off of Amazon, unscrewed the smaller portions and screwed the hooks on to each one. The comfort level and ease of the exercises dramatically increased. Was really able to focus on form and slower eccentric movements.
@nessuno93 my point is there was an evolution in the thinking of muscle building? I’m not trying to take anything away from Arnold because he paved the way and then we learned some more.
@@DisciplineDaveyes of sure, the things are changed, like ever. However i would like give to you my gratitude from Italy, I'm still not convinced about my transition to resistence band, but I would use only them after ten years of weights , and one day i would be sure that them are better than weights. I am looking your workout every day. You are the best 😉
I always get discouraged with exercise because I think i work hard but it seems like i always have a little fat in my chest. When i work out i do a ton of pushupsb with different variations. When i played football in hs i was probably at my best condition... Still had man boobs. When I was about 28 I gained almost 35lbs, i literally couldn't see my dick anymore when i went to the bathroom😂😂😂. I started working out hardand cut back on many things i ate. I had muscles everywhere except my chest 😅. I'm going to keep giving it a shot though. I definitely hate how it looks.
I am a body builder who is in a remote part of the world without gym for 6 months, i will use only band with no attachment. Thank you. I am becaming your fan. Maybe i will never return to weights
Wanted to say thank you. I used your Amazon link to purchase the bands, bar, and some supplements as appreciation. I've had chronic health issues for awhile, which has led to years of being sedentary. Your videos motivated me to move forward with starting a new exercise routine in hopes of regaining some muscle. I look forward to watching more.
Which would you recommend for a wheelchair user? I have recently started a rehabilitation program in hospital. I have been in hospital 5 months and just recently I have been able to get in my wheelchair 4 days a week. I have been using a resistance ribbon to exercise to regain some upper body and core strength. I anchor it to various locations around my room, including my bed. The bed is pretty good as I can change its height to give me a greater variety of exercise options. When I get home I will a little more limited in my options except for a door. I also have been using a 5 kg dumbbell at present and I will probably invest in a few when I go home eventually. I really want to become fitter and more mobile within my chair once I’m out of hospital so I need something that will maintain my new found enthusiasm for exercising.
Thanks to my wheelchair and walker, only my biceps are toned. Strong and firm on top, but then my triceps are flabby. I tried the first one, and got nowhere 😅 this is going to be quite a journey...
Literally all my supposedly super-heavy, thick resistance bands are snapping after around 2 years. They're totally disintegrating. I just snapped my thickest one in two places, I'm so annoyed, lol
This brand I’ve never heard snapping. The rope in the middle prevents that. The only thing I’ve heard is that the silicone can shred around the rope if stored in an extremely dry place and unused for a long time, but they sell a lube restorer to prevent that from happening.
Hi Dave new subs here can you please do a workout for split like this Upper/Lower Push/Pull/Legs Full Body I know you have recommended workout schedule something like bro split but this will help people use to this workout split from gym to home resistance training
Thank you Dave I am a 63-year-old woman who was told I need to start building better muscle tone and exercise due to a heart syndrome called HFpEF. I have the bands but did not really know where to start... And here you are!! I am going to start watching your videos on the proper way to excersise using bands. This video was very informative thank you so much! (Us older folks need this too!)
