Luton should not be underestimated, Giles , kaboré, anderson and ogbene are some very good signings alongside the likes of adebayo and morris with lockyer at the back , only problem for them is a keeper
theres a realistic possible top half finish if we don't get the bad look with injurys of the past, confident we will surprise a lot of people this season THE BLADES ARE BACK
@@davidhamed8613 I'm talking about a club owner and what he did for the club not the incident where he tried to retake full control of the club. I'm not passing comment on what happens in the business world and I suspect the judge was not experienced enough to either.
We have been written off by everyone. I am relaxed as the pundits are often wrong. The club are going the sensible route not splashing cash stupidly. Build the team and if we go down with a good squad we can enjoy the Championship and come back. There seem to be fans who have no clue about business. If you pay out more than you take in you are bankrupt, then all kinds of bad things happen. The Prince seems to be a very decent man and he has been good for the club and straight with the fans. I hope he decides to stay to be honest. I think we won’t do 9th place like last time but we may well do17th or a bit higher. Remember, the Premier is the toughest league but the Championship is the most fun and a lot more equal so if we do go down c’est la vie!
Our 20-21 relegation debacle saw us lose 17 matches by just the one goal. We scored on average half a goal a match. The previous season we succeeded with one goal a match. A seasoned PL goalscorer is essential, loan maybe, to take the pressure off Nd and buy time to develop our youngsters.
I like hecky and think he has been a good appointment , however he’s not a prem manager imo think some of the tactics we saw last season in those 1-0 wins weren’t great sitting back and inviting pressure against some mid table sides worries me for the next division. Still support them 100% of course and he deserves time to go at it but just being realistic think it will be a tough season for us
@SheffUnitedWay no, I remember it well. After losing at Palace we were 0 2 15 and I couldn't believe any team could only have 2 points from 17 games!! Out doing our 90/91 0 4 12 start. At half way in our last season we had just 5points. It says a lot about the team that we got 18 points in the 2nd half!!!
At the risk of making off topic remarks, I really like the shirt that Oli is wearing, and Nick has the more modern version of the same. Great badge on both. Time for Hal to up his game on shirts. 😂 Serious point. I think PH will treat the 3 new signings in much the same way as he did with Doyle and McAtee last season. I was all for seeing more of those two earlier in the campaign, but with hindsight it’s easy to see what a terrific job the manager did with both of them. Treat the new lads the same way, break them in gently and respect the fact that they are all very different. Although the ManCity lads came from the same club, and both midfielders, they were very different prospects in terms of age and experience. Not an easy job. Well done Hecky. 😊
I'm happy with what we're spending. Cutting our cloth accordingly. Got to keep it real and reward those who got us there. I don't think overpaying for mediocre players is the way. Much prefer the route we've taken.
As it stands currently we’re still a few players short, our starting 11 is currently arguably weaker than last season with no Doyle, have faith we’ll get a few more in though
Brilliant content as always lads,Always feel jealous when I see Hal in Cyprus but never mind.I think the Prince has been a decent owner and like Nick said he’s kept our better player’s which is something a lot of our other ones have done.⚔️⚔️⚔️👍
