Okc is definitely under the radar for the simple fact of this is the first time y’all really acknowledged how good they are because they forced you too. They’re beating those who you say are better they have a 3-1 reg season record against the nuggets whom everyone loves. They split with the Twolves and the Celtics whom everyone is picking to be in the finals and most sports tv personalities are just waiting for them to fall off. I have been a fan of Sam Presti and the OKC. I know he has a vision and mission for an OKC ring and legacy. He makes unconventional moves to make magic happen on a small market. That is why when OKC started the rebuild, he got SGA and a bunch of first round picks, I knew I had to trust the process. Sam Presti is a very inconveniental GM and his moves usually make sense later on. When he got SGA, when he got coach Mark, and undrafted players, or unexpected picks, I knew i had to wait and see. So I stuck watching OKC games. I remember the criticism and negativity they got, but there were a few other like minded fans that knew that Sam Presti had a vision and mission and to trust the process. We would all watch Thunder games and as time passed by we noticed that coach Mark was sending players to play on the G-league. Many people would get upset, thinking the coach was downgrading them. We had to explain that coach Mark came from the G-league and doesn't consider it a downgrade, but a place to develope them. All the players he sent to the G-League came back better. It almost feels like the OKC blue and the OKC team have a similar approach of coaching and development. OKC is a small market, so it needs to have G-league options that can easily come and help the OKC thunder when needed. So we saw all the games, even the ones we knew they would loose. Yet, watching them play was extremely rewarding because coach Mark would try unconventional plays. Some worked, some didnt. They lost many times but they learned and improved. You could tell development was crucial with this team and coach Mark. We kept on telling everyone that it wouldn't take us that long for a championship run because the chemistry and improvements were advancing faster that expected. I am happy to see them where they are, they worked hard to be in that spot. It is not luck, it is hard work. The whole team, starters and bench deserve the recognition because they worked hard to be the #1 seed.

The reason why wolves get more love than okc is quite simple actually.. Wolves swept the suns who were considered a legit contenders with three superstars whereas okc beat a pelicans without zion.. Secondly wolves beat the nuggets twice who were supposed to repeat whereas okc beat the mavs with a hobbled luka.. Though they are young teams the gap in their achievements is quite huge.

OKC won becouse of soft fouls calling until mid of 3rd Q. SGa got fouls called for really every simple touch. If Minnesota would play OKC like they play Denver they would all have 6 fouls by end of game. You just can not have such big difference in fouls calling in playoffs!!!
