Are You Eligible? Revealing UK's Medical Cannabis Prescription Criteria: 2023 Application 

The Portuguese authorities are doing whats never been done before. A new approach to drug addiction that is getting brilliant results all round! The big obvious question is ‘do more people start taking them just because they are available?’- the answer is no. Please look into it. Also,even weed is being sprayed with stuff these days to make it have addictive properties. We should be able to grow at home. All electricity set ups checked every year etc etc. With this ALL the underground profits would disappear and would hopefully have a positive knock on effect. All of that illegality removed from our societies? Who wouldn’t want that right? These are big points that personally I believe indicates a system ran by our govts themselves.

Super glad that you found your way into the medical program. Yeah be careful of the percentages, try to make sure you get a full spectrum oil. I actually have a video coming up on all oils available at my current pharmacy. So I can't speak for your pharmacy but I'll definitely be able to tell you what oils are available, and if your clinic doesn't provide that then of course you can look to find something else. Yes prices are expensive and this is why I did make a point of saying we don't have it on the NHS, and we are doing the project 2021 through drug science to help in aid of that. 💜

Nice. I saw a video of my uncle from the 1970s about getting pioneering chemo treatment in New York. He was talking to a news program and said how someone convinced him to try it following treatment symptoms. Said it was the only thing that worked. And would smoke in the parking lott on the way home, said with a twinkle in his eye 🤩 RIP

@@Truth-And-Freedom Not really at the moment, although there have been a handful of patients who have managed to obtain prescriptions. The NHS will more likely prescribe cannabis derived medicines like Sativex, Epidiolex or Epidiolex rather than bud or oils as these have received licenses as "Cannabis-Based Medicinal Products".

hey love! thank you for your comment, and I did have antidepressants once apon a time, but fucked me in the first day, so much so, I was basically fainting and feeling like I have vertigo. I never touched another one since that one and only. This was recorded on my GP profile and was used to help for my cannabis script. Hope this helps x

Yeah but you must have some concept of why they are taking this stance with you mate, I am 46 years old and have smoked weed since the age of 13 I still smoke a blunt to this day but if there is one thing that I have known cannabis to do and that is exacerbate already underlying mental problems. No doctor or pharmacy in the land will prescribe you cannabis for medical use or recreational use it just won't happen because it can make existing or underlying mental problems worse, I have seen it myself. Psychosis, depression, anxiety and other mental problems have in the past been made worse for the individual it is well documented and it is well known about its not just me telling you this, this has been documented many times in people. So that's probably why mate.

A high CBD B content is good for you. It's the anti psychotic component where as THC is the psychoactive. Oddly enough cannabis doesn't make me paranoid in 25 years. I see how affects some though... You can see it in their face. Good luck and keep persevering ✨

I am in the same position as you and I wish there was a way out I was very athletic in my younger days I played a lot of rugby and loved every moment of it never ever missed practice even on days off I went to the park and practice with a small bag and some objects like rings and cones now I'm suffering which series joint pain tried to co-codamol that is just clogging me up now I'm on Nora morph it is not getting rid of the pain it's just creating more problems so I'm going to have to pull up with buying from wherever I can a more often than not you get bad stuff sprayed with some obnoxious chemical if there was a way out I will tell you good luck for the future and hope things change by the way I'm 73

I have this year been diagnosed with possible schizoaffective/ possible bipolar disorder. I have not received a proper diagnosis regarding my mental health, not have I been listened to by psychiatrists & I question psychiatrists as in my experience they are all the same & just want to dope patients up on pills they oftentimes don’t even need. They don’t understand peoples thoughts & behaviours can change due to lifestyle & circumstances & diet, amongst a number of other things & pills are often not needed in a patients treatment. I have been using cannabis for 20 years. I lived in the netherlands for a year last year & had access to the best quality cannabis I’ve ever had in my life on a daily basis & my health had never been better whilst I was there. Psychiatrists in the UK don’t listen to the patient who is the one suffering & in need of help & antipsychotic drugs are all they are interested in overprescribing - these drugs are dangerous & make people become mentally retarded as well as making people become addicted to them. Patients become addicted to an ineffective “medicine” that they often do not even need. If we were legally allowed to get the right strain of cannabis in this country (UK) you’d see a lot less people suffering in general, the strains of cannabis high in CBD are a natural antipsychotic without the horrendous side effects caused by antipsychotic pills such as Rispiridone, Haliperidol, Aripriprazole to name a few. Personally when I was forced against my will to take those mind-altering DRUGS - antipsychotic pills (cannabis is a plant, not a drug) I experienced problems with my eyesight, blurred vision, I was zombified as I was heavily sedated, I sometimes had no thoughts & just stared into space, I did nothing & just ate, ate, ate, I was involuntarily drooling, I was paranoid & I had frequent nightmares, I had no energy, my body was heavy & I was sluggish & not functioning properly, I had disturbing thoughts & my whole personality changed. The opposite effects I had from good quality cannabis bought safely over the counter in the netherlands in a civilised non-threatening setting where I could relax & socialise with other users in public whilst enjoying a coffee so no paranoia or feeling like I’m doing something naughty that I need to hide. The Dutch cannabis made me feel relaxed, happy, giggly, I had uninterrupted sleep, I could eat better & didn’t overeat, I had lots of different thoughts, but interesting thoughts & ideas - not disturbing thoughts like the antipsychotic pills caused me, I was more creative, I socialised more comfortably, I was more confident, carefree, I had more energy & exercised more, I cycled everyday & played football & basketball most days & spent far more time outdoors & I had a better diet & was a healthy weight. Cannabis needs to be legalised in the UK & it’s disgrace it’s not legal for everyone. If we had access to numerous different strains of plants we are enabled to find the right ones that suit us & treat our condition/s. The problems that are caused by British people both at home & abroad that overindulge on alcohol is shameful & these are often the same people who frown upon those who use cannabis because they are not experienced users, neither are they educated properly on the uses of the plant & do not have cannabis users best interests at heart. Psychiatrists often exacerbate mental health problems when they can’t even give patients an accurate diagnosis. Schizoaffective disorder is misdiagnosed 80% of the time. Be careful who you trust in this world as many people are not trustworthy & are dishonest / economical with the truth. Quite often psychiatrists will pick & choose what they see as facts about a person & their health condition, if they even have one, other times they will make up lies about a person to suit their own agenda & “logic” in order to zombify them with harmful, dangerous pharmaceutical drugs & if you have a difference of opinion from them on a subject matter or disagree with them they will say you are delusional.

Yeah I totally get that side of things! I started smoking younger than 18 so of course I completely empathise with this view. However I would argue that I would get the script just to be legal but still obviously go to see your mate 😉

@KadysNewLife if I lived somewhere busy and bought large amounts then I would have my concerns, but it's easier to buy weed than takeaway thanks to the war on drugs.. Instead of having to go get my prescription, I get a delivery. My other concern is when governments control the weed, who knows what you're smoking, after the covid vaccine I have very little faith in any medicine controlled by the state. At least my mates weed won't make me keel over with a heart attack 30 years too soon... Until its entirely legal, I'll stick with the convenient form as it's cheaper, more reliable and more peace of mind knowing Chris Wittey had f*ck all to do with my smoke..

The government are growing GMO weed. Monsanto been cooking it up for years etc.. grow it yourself or buy it off someone who knows what thier doing. Mixing tobacco with cannabis is wrong. Smoke cannabis pure, or mix it with mugwart or use a glass bong, pipe. Tobacco is no good for you. You don't need to stop smoking cannabis, you do what works for you, these specialists/professionals are programmed to tell you not to blaze, they want you to take their poison.

heyyy! I say, why not give it a try!! I have a video that I need to work on with all the clinics and prices and some patient reviews included. However I do not wish to stifle you by saying wait for that video. Please apply to any clinic you can afford to. The start up consultation fee varies. They will usually ask for a summery of care records and you can obtain this from your GP. They should have a good idea of whether you will be accepted or not before making you pay a ton of money to find out no. I would suggest to apply or at least enquire by calling into my clinic Alternaleaf, as it is only £49 consultation as opposed to some that can cost over £150. Explain your situation and ask them what your likelihood of acceptance is.

It's probably best to ask the clinic that question, as they would know about how long the actual years need to be. A simple email will start that conversation though! And if I need anything else at least you know now.

hi love, the GP cannot say anything when it is all done through specialists at clinics. NOT the doctors. I have no clue on your work rules but as it is medication there is definately room for argument here. The DVLA states that you must not be "impaired" while driving. May be worth pulling up the DVLA page on medical cannabis if you need it to go forward :)

Absolutely not. You just need to have in your medical records proof that you have tried 2 different medications. If you don't have the other one then go to the doctors and get yourself something prescribed, if it doesn't work (as you suspect) Go back to the doctors tell them you don't want to it doesn't work, Then call up a clinic

I have never been with Sapphire. I was with Zerenia and now Alternaleaf. Your GP cannot stop you access to medicine that will help you. I have never heard of this GP appointment. Usually it is a summary of care records needed to the clinic, that is all. Unless further info is needed then this can be obtained by asking for A COPY OF YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS. This CANNOT be denied due to GDPR amongst other reasons.

There is an array of different things you can get, You can get oils or you can get flower and they come in a difference of THC and CBD. You can get oils which have more CBD than THC and vice versa. I really do strongly recommend you look into the medical route

Here in NZ it's legal medicinally but this is the reality here. The corporates swooped in and government made it near impossible for growers to get a licence so the best medicine is still illegal

it is so expensive until we get this on the NHS
