Didn’t look like anything, but the judges calling hold made me seriously question my thoughts. Vindicated by the slow mo but I can certainly see how it looked like a good thrust, especially from the other side of the piste!
In S&B I had a great buckler head block and cut to the leg on my opponent someone got a photo of it and it looked like had done a thrust to his leg with the bend. And my feder is a thick Boi (smaller federal to get thicker edge, almost like a small sword). That being said, I do have a shlager rapier blade that is 43inches of wet noodle and that is GARBAGE in the bind. So yeah they all flop, but some more than others.
