Same goes for makeup! It's crazy how many ppl dont realize makeup expires too! Especially mascara. Throw that mess out unless you want to be blind and baldheaded! Lol

Wow I have extremely dry and sensitive skin I can only use Cetaphil and that stuff costs a mint! I need to stay outta Sam’s because I buy that stuff in bulk😝 I never knew it expired.

When I worked retail I had to learn this. I am pretty good with keeping up to date with hair care. I don’t play at all when it comes to skin care and makeup. I am so glad that you touched on this. So many people ignore expiration date. Which is insane because a lot of people are switching to products with natural ingredients which tend to have a shorter shelf life. I’m not tryinf to end up bald headed 😂😂

This was a great video. All my Shea Moisture products does have an expiration date. They have 12 months. I’m glad he clarified the clock starts ticking after you open. I was unsure about that.

Had no idea because I buy many on sale, bunk or 50% and would use it differently but at the same times. Now I may just start using until I use it all to save my products, health and coin. Again great to know.

Lol I totally understand! I know a lot of people will use products for years, not wanting to waste money, but don’t realize that products have a shelf life. Same goes for medication, lotions, body wash, etc

With this in mind it keeps me from never product hoarding and sticking to what works because after a year collected products never used would have to be thrown out I really hate that idea, so I buy the usuals and stick to it.

I work at a beauty supply people like to open products I wish you could tell them this. I know about the stuff but the everyday person doesn't. Some people want "testers" or feel hair products like edge control.

I always put my left over relaxer in the freezer I've been doing it for yrs & yrs & it works well for me for the next use. I wouldn't use it or put it in the freezer after its been out all day its spoiled by then.

@@GetGlamFam so true. My Carol's Daughter milk products don't have any date whatsoever however I did notice it has gum in it. I have locs now and it doesn't look like retwisting with their "hair milk styling pudding" will be good for me now. I need to do some donating.

When I first went natural 18 months ago, I saw a video that said to buy the entire line of a product because they were made to go together. That's what I've been doing through my 18 months. But I see hair videos where they are mixing products??? Also, if you can mix products is there ingredients you should not mix together and therefore not use these products together. Will you do a video clarifying this topic? Thank you P.S. Could this be a reason for some people having hair damage with Deva Curl, they used other products in combination with Deva Curl? Thank you.
