That took some time getting your parcle. But at least you still received your package. I have been collecting samples from areffasoaps for a bit now, since you did a video on the soap. They have been fantastic. She makes exceptional soap and scents. I am really glad that you had featured them in your videos so I have been able to try them. It is great to see you doing well with your sharpening. I really enjoy your videos, so thank you for making them. Stay well.
Nice shave Johan! Those razors are pretty cool looking 😀👍 The scent on that set sounds great! Florals are good if mixed with something else, pure florals, no good 😉 My last SOTD: RazoRock German 37 slant with a Statum Platinum Chrome Sputtered blade, PAA Doppelganger Oxblood soap and splash, PAA Star Wisp brush, and some Stirling balm. Have a good one! Steve
My areffa soaps needs to lay in the closet few months to mix well potassium hydroxide with fats. It seems to me that their soaps does not cure before sending since some time(they are mixed and send right away). Your one was cured during shipping 😂 I am lately using only joserra and westman 😅
Of course you like it, it was in the cards! Don't dis the vikings like that; they were considered quite vain. Even your lot, moving down from Newtown (Novogorod) founding Kyiv when Moscow as a wood, down to the Big Town (Miklagarð), paid a lot of attention to their looks. Remember all those combs the archaeologists find? I suspect there may have been Serdes among the vikings that the Arab chronicler Ibn-Fatlan met and described, at leat påartially, in complementary terms. After shave splashes may not have been in their travel kits (at least not alcohol based ones; didstillation hadn't reached Europe yet) but they did wash, even before soap as we know it was invented, maybe even wore the odd flower...
