The best thing about this is that it could theoretically be done in Dawn of sorrow too , the duplicate souls problem would be fixed because souls get stronger the more of the same soul you have , either way im impressed with this hack
A cool update would be to add safe rooms with choices(choose one soul/stat/item, the others poof) and labeled stat containers(little text above that says STR, INT, CON, LCK, HP, MP).
I've been craving an RE like game that's nothing but scenarios (Think Outbreak) and you can just jump in and play for hours. No worry about story or character details, just you, a locked down maze like box with locked doors and filled with horrors. A roguelike RE game, a clone even, would be great. I'm really wanting to make a Garry's Mod game mode
I would LOVE this. I’ve used the hard mode mod and randomizer together in SotN do make my own faux-roguelite runs of the where I don’t use saves, but I would love a more proper version like this mod!
That's a great hack! Not sure if it's possible but I think some red souls should scale with INT isted of STR. Like, it DOES make sense to throw a bone and cause more damage if you have more STR or shot a bow, swing a giant axe, but at same time feels weird to cause more damage by controlling a crow or a cat familiar or shooting ice and magic projectiles because you have a lot of STR, that would work better with INT (On a side note, becoming a uncontrolable beast of speed and destruction and causing more damage with INT also feels weird.)
I thank you ! I discovered that mod two days ago and i love it ! I already finished 2 runs but it seems to be endless, i get room 120 then i stopped because all the roads were deadends with Book of Returnal inside. I'll try the Hard Run and the Julius run soon !
Looks absolutely amazing, gotta try this one Edit: I tried it. Looks endless after the Graham fight. You can keep going back to the entrance and resetting the castle but aside from levels increasing and monster spots changing, nothing else changes and all paths become dead ends to walls of the Chaotic Realm. Still a lot of fun until there tho.
@@Jim_WoodPike_Gherkin_WangWick Yep. Not even a Julius fight, literally nonexistent. The world stops growing after you beat Graham. You'll mostly see Skull Miliones and Lubicants in most places with some eventual Stolas and Demon Lord where they fit.
This is insane. Amazing. Btw the music constantly changing is kinda annoying. Maybe he should just set one music track that changes every time the difficulty increases.

This is brings me so much joy literally just beat this game again with all in game and boss rush items on hard difficulty with a boss rush time of 2 min 45 seconds lol
Short hopping with certain weapons like the knife cuts the attack animation and you can get higher DPS. It's probably a habit or reflex to stay ready if they have to attack unexpectedly.
Why are you constantly jumping when walking...any upside to doing that? Faster attacks or just because you're bored? You seem to navigate those menus extremely fast, so I guess you know exactly what everything does and you've played the core game hundreds of hours.
here my feed back from watching this: 1)Make a fully functional tutorial sign that tell yiu what new in this hack this make your first run not as confusing. 2)Equipment and item now has random level for example potion lv1 heal 50 while potion lv2 heal 60 this make finding old item more exciting as you never know what level it at there are some rule for it: _The higher the difficulty the higher lv item can be. _Late game item maximum lv is reduce to make early game weapon not obsolete. 3)Equipment can now has random element or resist just like in dawn of sorrow.. 4)More curse effect for each room. 5)Should buff/nerf infamous strat. 6)The book of return when you finish an area should be randomize with other unquie item. 7)When you hang out too long in a room enemy no longer drop any item or exp so player cant just afk farm. 8)Shop should be randomize after each successful run and healing item should be rarer to make shop more useful. 9)Early game boss is now buffed to be at the same level as late game boss and now boss are randomize.
